The university is well organised. They have great facilities in all their buildings across town. It is also a great location to the town if Edinburgh, so you get both quality education and scenery.

Campus being split it’s the ideal way of creating less traffic. The Chem department are amazing personal and quick to respond. The facilities are alright, it’s the uninoin and the people and the environment which thrives as wel as a 24 hr library

Relies heavily on its reputation. Student support is almost non existent. Quality of teaching is very hit and miss.

Everything is great and I love Edinburgh, but the actual University and the help/teaching it provides wit students is bad

I believe the University of Edinburgh is one of the most prestigious universities in the world. You get the professionalism and support that every other prestige university has, however there is a significant difference. In this university there is a very free feeling when it comes to handling your responsibilities. You do your work without the invisible shackles that most student feel on their wrists (and mind!) when doing their work.

The university of edinburgh is fantastic all round, lecturers are great and classes (geoscience) are interesting. Lecture theatres could have more leg room

This university gives students numerous opportunities. There is an array of societies, jobs and awards to commend our work. The campus is very welcoming and you feel like you’re actually in the movies as a student. The teaching and teachers are friendly and approachable. Certainly worth your while

Good university which tries to listen to your needs. Course organisation is decent, and changes year to year based on student feedback. Curriculum is very content heavy and has not been updated to current educational trends

Firstly the university has got a great location with a great campus. I just love the architecture of the buildings. The faculties, facilities, student union, etc. are of the top most quality. I feel very fortunate to study in one of the best universities in the world.

The location of the university and it's buildings are the best part of the university. It lacks in organization and clear communication to students.

The best part of Edinburgh university is the city itself which is beautiful and full of wxciting things to do. The university itself is great and I enjoy my course but sometimes the student support is a little lacking.

The university of Edinburgh was my first choice and I am incredibly glad I made this choice. My university experience has been great so fsr and they offer great support to students from all backgrounds. In addition, the quality of the teaching and the opportunities offered to improve my employability skills are incredible.

My course feels in need of updating and is very large and impersonal. There is limited contact hours with teaching staff and little academic support.

Student satisfaction is very low at Edinburgh due to the little support we get academically. The career service don’t have a big presence on campus. Student feedback isn’t taken on board

University of Edinburgh is often slagged for low student satisfaction however (possibly because I’m on a small degree course) I have found the teaching and staff to be exceptional.

Perfect lecturers and lecture content from my experience, absolutely love the learning facilities available especially for informatics students, student union could use some improvement in communication

Its a great university to meet new people in a beautiful city. With great places for nightlife, resturants and some of the best university facilities

The University of Edinburgh is situated in the gorgeous capital of Scotland. This year has been so much fun aided by great teaching staff, good teaching facilities (tutorial rooms fitted with white boards, auditoriums, computer suites etc) and of course a good nightlife! There are also so many societies and sports clubs you can join which fill your time usefully outside of coursework, these are a good way of making friends!

The campus itself has a number of beautiful buildings, and is relatively easy to walk around. The student union organises great events, particularly introductory events for international students. The availability of the international student lounge for anyone to drop in is really nice.

Great university that supports you all the time. Good student union with cheapish pints. Excellent sports facilities, with a fantastic gym at pleasance and many pitches down at Peffermill

Great student union that feels inclusive of everyone regardless of gender, race, or sexual orientation. Main campus is large and picturesque. Lots of facilities available for students.

Stellar uni in a great location, good pubs, nightlife, lecturers and status. Opportunity is rife and locals are friendly. The city is beautiful too with plenty of old historic parts. Leith is a wonderful place to live and is full of character and charm.

The courses and staff are stimulating but not enough is being done to support students at this university. The waiting lists for counselling is shocking and there are issues with sexual harassment are not taken as seriously as they should be. They need to treat their students better.

It's a great place, the people integrate well which is good. Library is good, lectures are okay, use too much technology though. Lecturers are very competent.
