Kings Building at UOE, amazing campus and facilities, sorted with the course and all the necessary facilities are provided for. Regular careers fair for the students are done. Student union is very helpful and in addition to that student union building has an amazing bar with cheap food and drinks.

campus and facilities are very good and labs have good equipment, however movement between campuses and buildings is not always very easy (shuttle bus to kings does not go very often), and my personal tutor has not been very helpful at all. Lecturers are very good in the science department.

Great city has lots to do and is really beautiful. The campus is really central and everything is easily accessible. The university has great societies and sports clubs with good facilities (including a really good gym).

Good campus and facilities. Poor student support. Great location. Sports facilities and prices of membership are ideal. Good library and access to learning spaces. Large and diverse student body.

The edinburgh medical school has majority good teaching, but poor communication between administration and students. The student union is very expensive for drinks, food, etc. Overall student welfare is poorly taken care of.

My university is truly one of the best in the world, allowing me to learn about my chosen subject but still providing a fun and interesting atmosphere in which to do so.

Being at Edinburgh university is great! Central campus is my favourite and the majority of my time is spent here due to classes. Being a Muslim at university is made easier as their is a mosque right on campus, therefore it makes praying in between classes much more convenient.

Great university with excellent facilities, very high quality lecturers and tutors which make for a great learning environment, organisation is great and the timetable makes for a relaxed semester with no stress

Facilities are adequate, though the library gets extremely crowded during exam season. Course quality varies from one course to another. My course for example could do with more support for its students.

The University has been hugely supportive of me and my home circumstances, however I feel that the expectations and support of the academic and mental health/stress/balance side of things could be vastly improved.

Over all a good university to study at, with good facilities and in a really nice city. It has a good atmosphere and everything is close together. There are lots of things geared towards students and plenty of activities to do in the city both day and night. Sport facilities are excellent and nearby.

Great facilities , especially from the business school. They give fantastic support and the staff map such an effort with the students. Nice campus with good eating spots and social areas too.

Beautiful campus, controversial student union. The careers service can be good if you have a solid idea of what you want to do with your life but otherwise unhelpful and disheartening. The best city to go to university in apart from the accommodation prices. Plenty of good shops, restaurants, bars, sights to see and good transport links across the country. Conveniently located near a good airport with good links everywhere. A key area in which organisation could be improved is in the release of exam and resit exam timetables which are done last minute and cause difficulties- especially for international students.

Nice University with many facilities. Student satisfaction is low due to lack of support. Careers services are helpful and informative. The university can be stupid and does building work, which is loud during exam season

Terrible mental health services, lecturers often don't bother making/putting up lecture notes or slides, rampant culture of academic censorship and a lack of diversity of opinion amongst the staff.Great sports teams, great nights out, great people, decent halls.

The campus is quite big, and it is good to have classes in different buildings (sometimes bot in the main campus). The cafes have nice food as well.

Great Campus and facilities. Cheap memberships for gym. Tutors & lecturers are very helpful. Facilities in St Leonard’s land are very modern and up to date. Staff are very friendly and allow us students to use equipment for teaching episodes and are adaptable when we require additional things. Lectures are modern with technology, always using up to take videos, Aifl strategies within lectures and useful authors for exams.

I love Edinburgh, I am personally on the main campus so am based in George Square. I study languages and the facilities are really great, really nice buildings and libraries for each subject. Edinburgh is such a perfect city for students, and is small enough to be able to walk pretty much anywhere, with loads of bars and culture too.

The main George square campus is a really nice place. There are food trucks with healthy food e.g. the union of genius food van and there are so many cafes to study and get food/coffee. The prices are also really reasonable. The library is a great place to study but it is sometimes hard to find a seat and there are enough places to sit and eat lunch or have a break with a coffee. Also there aren’t enough alternative study spaces on campus that are also quiet enough to study. The economics course is very well organised. It is a very large course however and the workshops are definitely too big to get proper one to one help with questions. Also the effectiveness of workshops varies greatly due to the fact some tutors are much better than others.

The university has many buildings, but the library tends to get overcrowded by students and not many people can access the different buildings available around campus. The university doesn't offer much help to students sometime or may take some time for them to do so. Overall, a pretty prestigious university, but definitely could make some improvements in the future.

Great choice of courses. Nice staff, but could be more organised (regarding lecture notes and study materials). Staff requirements should be followed by all members (I.e. lecture recordings and 24 hour minimum in advance to upload material onto learn). Good fascilities- study spaces should be made more well-known to students (possibly an online up-to-date study space availabilities on learn).

I am a law postgraduate student from France and the past 6 months have been nothing but amazing. The University Campus is wonderful (especially the Old College), it is beautiful, recently renovated, great facilities (law library, cafeteria, social areas, the classrooms are well-equiped). Each semester is usually composed of 3 courses, 2 hours each, requiring a few hours of reading and preparation beforehand which is really interesting. The courses are not just a moment of listening but there are real discussions and debates. The University comprises so many clubs and society (sport, art, cinema, music, salsa etc) with lots of events ! Finally the city of Edinburgh is just amazing, the mix of the old and new town with the castle on top of it makes it one of the most beautiful city in the world !

Great campus, not the best teaching always. Good library and excellent halls and sports facilities. Easy to take lots of different courses.
