The main campus is central and accessible for all. Some of the older buildings don’t have elevators and would be less accessible for disabled students. The union is eclectic and a nice place to hang out. There are lots of services available

Beautiful campus, people, and overall wonderful environment to be part of. Lecturers are extremely helpful and the mixture of courses available are really diverse and interesting.

Overall the University is good. In some ways there is poor communication and organization, but overall there are good facilities and resources.

Edinburgh University has a good reputation amongst employers, yet the staff and students are constantly dissatisfied with the way in which they are treated. The facilities are also poor, with very little working space in the library for all students around exam periods. Furthermore, from the experience of two friends, the mental health services are terrible

Both campuses have a good location. It is appreciated that a free shuttle bus runs between them twice an hour. The study areas are well facilitated but the number of work stations at KB library could be increased.

The university is spread over the city with university buildings in many different areas. It is also s very big university with many students making Edinburgh one of the biggest student cities. Walking in the city is fun, exciting and interesting since majority of he population is of a similar age group making the city very friendly and comfortable to live in. I study Law and my courses are very interesting, unique and varying. each course has lectures and tutorials . The lectures are great for an overview of he topic whereas tutorials break down the content, clear up any confusions and get the students to engage with the course.

The University of Edinburgh has a beautiful widespread campus with a multitude of facilities. The library, where I spend most of my time is open 24 hours and provides you with the highest quality and volume of books necessary.

overall, I've enjoyed it but have encountered a few difficulties which the uni was very supportive with and ultimately helped sort instantly. I've had a good experience so far and find it a very homely place to live. Got a few more years to go but should be great.

I like my course and I like Kings Buildings but this place isn't really suited to working class students apart from the massive bursary we get. You don't feel welcome here if you're southern and working class because that just doesn't seem to be an option. You're either northern/Scottish and accepted or southern and therefore posh and daddy pays for everything. My suggestion if you're from the south and not rich: stay in England at least you won't be judged so hard.

The campus is really nice, George square has a lot of energy and is the main university campus. The facilities are great. There is a lovely student union just off from the central George square campus and there is an excellent gym memebershio available to Edinburgh uni students.

Very poor mental health services. I had a friend in first year who was told to go home because they said they couldn't facilitate the recovery from her eating disorder while she lived in halls. She was here 2 weeks and transferred to a uni she could commute to from home. And is fully recovered.

A brilliant university in the heart of the city with excellent academics and outstanding academics. The only criticism is that essays and exams take far far too long to be returned. You van wait 6 weeks to get some work back and this is just too long. Then when you get it back, there is not time spent going through them and looking at how to improve.

George Square campus is very central within Edinburgh itself, making travel to and from very easy. Most tutorials/lectures are in or around the square, meaning the ten minutes between periods gives you enough time to move between back to back lectures as long as none of the tutors overrun. The library is good but space runs out fairly quickly. The only experience I have with the union are the Big Cheese nights on a Saturday, which are a laugh but apparently aren't as well attended this year as they have been in previous. I have no experience with the careers service, so can only assume that they're average. Overall, organisation at the university seems to be relatively good, however I have experienced lecture clashes on timetables, room assignment errors and the request system to change tutorials is a lot more inefficient that just emailing the course organiser

Doesn't strictly speaking have a campus, but a lot of the buildings are close to one another so easily accessible. The SU is in a beautiful building (the bar is in a library!) and there's tonnes of really awesome street vendors selling different things (from coffee to bratwurst, crepes and vegetarian food options) aimed at students with student-friendly prices. The teaching staff I've encountered are all fantastic; super into their field, helpful and approachable. Extra-curricular seminars available in a range of topics and some great societies.

Fantastic campus, great range of modules to choose from and a great independent student vibe. However, teaching quality (especially in tutorials) is variable and there is a shortage of study spaces available in the main library - perhaps other study spaces could be advertised more effectively?
