Glasgow is not a tourist town. However, it is brilliant to be a student here. There are multiple universities and colleges so the place is full of students. There are all types of nightclubs (casual, posh, gay, hip hop, emo, rock, 80's) and bars so the night life is brilliant. Suchiehall Street is great for a night out; lots of clubs, bars, food places and very close to the train and bus station. Glasgow is also fab if you are Vegan or Gluten free with loads of cute independent cafes all over the place. If you fancy going to the movies, the city centre proudly holds the tallest cinema in the world (I think). If you are willing to go a little outside the city there are lots of trampoline parks, escape rooms, bowling alleys, cinemas, climbing centres, you name it. Value for money: Glasgow is so much cheaper than other British cities. Cheaper than Edinburgh and Aberdeen and certainly cheaper than London and Cambridge.
