The best city to eat in that I have ever visited. Everyone is super friendly, the night life is fantastic. There's a million things to do, including a lot down wee nooks and crannies I still stumble into after living here for over a decade.

Scotland's best city for students in many people's eyes, there is always fun to be had somewhere in Glasgow. Flat 0/1 top recommendation if you have only one night in the city.

Lots of places to eat and a good number of places open 24/7. Glasgow green and Kelvingrove park are great places to hang out during spring and summer to relax or study

Nights out are always good - lots of quality clubs to choose from. Shopping is great - thousands of shops located across Glasgow. Food I also v good and lots of American based restaurants opening here now too. Overall I love Glasgow and think it's THE place to be.

Great place for everything you want! It's the place to be if you want a cool night out with the gals or a casual drink with some friends.

The town is very Caucasian and pretty racist but not as bad as Edinburgh. 90% of the students and people are fake edgy or super basic. Honestly just go to England for uni. Can't but alcohol after 10pm and there's no transport after 11:30.

Good nightclub scene, good range of music from hardcore, drum and bass, reggae, grime, hip hop and much more.

Glasgow is an eclectic and diverse city. There is something for everyone on any budget or lifestyle. As a student it's great for cheap eats and amazing nights out. Techno music is insane and the famous club sub club is well worth a visit. In general it is a very laid back and casual city. It has lots of green space too, so plenty space to go on scenic walks. There really is just anything you could want. And above all, the people make Glasgow. Their friendliness and sense d humour will really make your visit.

There's always deals on for nights out at nightclubs with themed events, lots of shopping opportunities along the main street with the usual brands of stores. Cutesy little areas of Glasgow at Merchant City and in the West end where you can explore all the bargains for food and drinks, cafes, pubs, etc. You won't be bored if you have people to hang out with in these places, otherwise the cold and dreamy weather can get on your nerves.

Glasgow is a brilliant city to go to university. It has everything you would ever need. A large enough city centre with everything a city should have and an amazing night life! And the loveliest west end with cute restaurants and the best brunch cafes!

Lots of places for nights out but not much variety as most places are the same. Not much to do for people who dont enjoy drinking and nightclubs. Restaurants need more vegan options. Should be more student discounts in shops, restaurants etc.

The student scene in Glasgow is just incredible - especially if you're into music, there's gigs on almost every night of the week! From smaller venues like King Tuts to the iconic Hydro - there is something for literally every music taste. And if you need somewhere to eat before the concert - the food scene is almost as varied! Burgers from Bread Meats Bread, pizza from Paesano - and if you're looking for brunch the next day head to the Left Bank in the West End for some amazing breakfast!

Fairly nice place with friendly people in the city who are also welcoming in to their City. Glasgow is clean, but it rains a lot which could be annoying.

Since arriving in Glasgow, i have experienced eating in a number of restaurants and fast food shops, also used the various forms of transportation available, one notable thing is the fact that the city is very organized, transport signs are well structured, pricing is well regulated, their are various options of what to choose from from Italian to Chinese and African, and American and it makes it easy to choose what you want to eat, the shopping is another wonderful thing about the city with varieties of designers to shop from. A number of great universities with proximity to the town center is an attractive feature.

Love living in Glasgow! You never run out of new places to go for food or drink. Also, since moving here I have been to multiple concerts as it is so much easier to go. They are just right at your doorstep!

There are many things to do over here. From shopping in Buchannan street to eating burritos, playing mini golf and bowling. You will never get bored here.

Friendly city with lots to do. For those who love shopping and fine dining, the city center is filled with the biggest high street brands. The city has a rich history with many museums and historically significant buildings and monuments for all those culture and art lovers. Something to do for every type of person.

Amazing for vegan options, loads of really interesting independent vegan cafes. The west end has great shops and bars. There's plenty of free places to go out at night such as bars with dance floors. The transport is good but a bit expensive especially for students but it's usually punctual. Everyone is very friendly. Everywhere is easy to get to by transport and many places are walking distance from the city centre which is filled with high street shops and places to eat.

Glasgow's night life is amazing! Pubs and bars everywhere. Had dinner at a few restaurants and the food was very delicious. Great quality and reasonable price. There are lots of shops at Argyll street as well which includes jack wills, lush, Nike, Adidas, etc. The supermarket is also very easy to access and the price is super cheap! Always shop at Aldi, Lidl and Poundland. Back in my hometown the price is way more expensive than these supermarket is was nearly double the price! Really great place to travel and live in! Highly recommend people to visit here for at least a week and should go to pubs and bars because Glasgow is famous for its night life and also you can hear bagpipes on the street engage into Glasgow's culture! And also it's very convenient there are subways and bus station at st Enoch and buchanan street
