Good teaching and good buildings, students are very nice as well and welcoming. The city as a whole isn’t busy but London is not too far away if you’re looking for a lively place

Great university! Huge library, nice staff and excellent lectures. New buildings and new technology available.

It's a great place to study. Especially if you like seaside and student friendly city. The university itself is good too. A lot of help is available and the staff is friendly. Also, there are a lot of different clubs that the students can join to further enjoy the student life.

‘‘Twas okay but my course had some issues with organisation and there was not enough contact time considering the amount you’re paying for tuition fees. Some lecturers were great others didn’t even turn up half the time. The student housing was expensive. But the library was great lol

Portsmouth university, along side the city, has an identity of all its own. The people who study and teach here are friendly, unique with a passion for education and bettering the world around us

Decent uni, good facilities great social space. The lecturers know what they’re talking about and actually enjoy teaching. The best thing though, the student union. They put on great events and have a wellbeing and care for the students time whilst herex

The campus is spread over the city, everything is easily accessed though walking, car or bus, the facilities are incredible with high tech resources and labs and specialty staff especially for your course that are always there to help you when you need. The student union is very welcoming and organising weekly nights out at the union to go and hang out with your friends

Very easy access to all campus buildings as everywhere around the university was a short walking distance between each other. The facilities were of great value, such as the university library which offered an array of resources, study booths and silent zones. The careers service were incredibly helpful when supporting me with writing a CV and cover letter for job hunting after graduation. The student union was really engaging with students, offering a bar and food, pool tables and activity area such as the student radio and tv.

Good careers help and preparation for employment. Psychology course very indiependant. Long lectures in course can lose concentration during these lectures

Excellent teaching, facilities and student support. Mental health support and postgraduate opportunities are also very good.

It's crap, some lecturers are great but the overall uni's concern is terrible. Don't take creative writing and film studies, it's a mistake. University also charges too much for stuff, like what am I paying the fee for exactly?

Most halls are in the center of Portsmouth, where the university campus is also located. This is very convenient. The university is otherwise disorganised and Portsmouth is more expensive than London

Modern facilities, open campus, with plenty of work and rest spaces, engaging and fun course, challenging, but not too taxing. Union is helpful, but a little outdated. Careers help and advise is very useful. Overall, has been an extremely good experience

The course is really good, I do criminology with psychology, and I really enjoy it! The campus is onsite which is a perfect location, it’s in town and the halls surround town, this makes it really easy to get to uni

The campus is rather spread apart howler newer facilities are up to date and the library is Fantastic. The ability to switch between specialised courses in the business department and option to do Erasmus is amazing.

Lectureres are of amazing standard (i do film studies) and the moduels are so interesting! Really great facilities and support throughout, brillant library and very friendly people. Lecture halls are all in cloae proximity in the city which is great!! Best thing about my experience has been the state of the teaching/lessons ans variety of assessments.

My course Ian interesting but the support and structure of the course is somewhat adequate. Need more info on halls facilities. Need more surveillance around the library to ensure quite study.

Good social side of the uni. Academically lacking strength. Not the nicest if cities. Only good for going out basically

The university has all the campuses near by, which provides easy access. The library has a variety of books, and consists of 3 floors with a lot of space to do group work and studying by yourself. There is a lot of support especially with coursework, as the student science support team help with referencing, structuring essays and providing feedback.
