Plymouth University is great, there’s always a chilled atmosphere and everyone gets along. We have great facilities like the su and the library and sports venues outside the campus. Campus is in a great location next to town and accommodation is all really close. Lecturers are good and there are a variety of ways in which we are taught, workshops and field trips etc

I've had a great experience at university. Some of the best points: -Lecturers have an open door policy -20-day guaranteed coursework feedback -Diverse module choices -Campus and city are very safe (I would walk alone through the city in the middle of the night) -Excellent careers service with dropins every day. -So many extra curricular choices Inc, societies, sports clubs, volunteering, student ambassador (part-time work). -Plymouth Uni app where you can do everything from your phone is amazing -All the trips on my course are included in our tuition fees (opportunity to go to Concarneau, France, Paris and Madrid) -Campus is right in the city centre, making it very accessible -24/7/365 library Some of the disadvantages: -Funding cuts mean every year there are less free trips. -Lecturers may not be there when you go to 'drop-in' -The business building is off-campus (but its walkable in under 5 minutes)

the university does not offer enough help with coursework or exam preparation and feedback isn’t great

The course is amazing and teachers are very helpful. Dentistry in Plymouth is second on the league's table. Excellent facilities and a fun uni experience

Geology is good, but not well taught in some modules. Uni buildings overall very nice very clean and new. Lectures are good, some better than others.

Good facilities, sports & societies could do with extra funding. Good students union. Marine Technology course is very good!

Plymouth university facilities are very specific for each subject so for example Physiotherapy, optometry, paramedics and OT has a separate building with separate facilities to cateer for the specificity of the facilities required. The campus has a very friendly vibe and it’s also a nice place to study and relax.

Good university overall, certain buildings and equipment need updating asap but the experience to be had here is second to none!

The university is good, they have modern clean lecture halls and computer facilities. The uni does offer good support to students who may be struggling with their work through writing cafes which are useful. They also are very understanding of mental health and accommodate your needs

Laboratories are very well equipped however some lecture theatres are in need of some TLC. The gym is very small but the exercise classes are excellent and great value for money. The library is an excellent up to date service, campus is very easy to navigate!

The university is overall, very nice and welcoming. I literally have no bad things to say about it. It’s probably the best place I’ve been so far.

A very fun and different university. I overlooked it at first, but when I didn't get into my fist choice I came to Plymouth. I was always told that if I was to go to a non russel group university I would not enjoy it because of the lower level of education. Oh how they lied. I have now encouraged students looking at universities to go to non russel groups. They are better, more fun and practical. Employers don't want students who have just been in lectures. They want students who have had hands on practical, practical experience.

Campus is well around each other in a walking distance, it does need time to get used to the locations and not get lost. It's a worthwhile experience, you'll enjoy it.

My faculty's facilities are brilliant but others are lacking slightly. The support and remediation from the staff is very good.

The location of uni is mostly the best part unless you're an Optometry student then you have to travel quite far away. The facilities are state of art and the social side is by far one of the best. Optometry is a very advanced and modern course and in Plymouth they have one of the optometry labs in the whole of UK.

Campus is very clean and tidy. There is help agonist everywhere if you need it. Everyone is friendly and it is in the midst of city center which is very convenient. At the same time , nightlife is also very nearby to campus and city center

The course is incredibly interesting and teaches you much needed scientific skills, including out on the field and group work. I love how the campus is near the centre of town and the train station so everything is easy to access by foot.

The university is amazing. As a foreign student, I really appreciate and love all the facilities. The lectures are easy to follow and very enjoying, all the tutors are amazing. The campus is good. Students union is an amazing place where you can meet a lot of people. The events that are organized are the best part. There is a good night life in the campus.
