Campus is amazing, modern facilities and the law course is very interesting and well structured. The prep is extremely heaving but support is outstanding

The campus is nice and modern, has a very good library and alot of parking. Also a very business and computing school. The business school is in the historic part of the area (Chatham) and there are a huge variety of restaurants nearby for lunch. The deep end which is a social place is quite good as there are lots of sofas and chairs to sit and relax on and there are pool/table tennis tables to play a few games on.

Really good teaching, problem is that in seminars there isn't enough room to accommodate everyone. Sports facilities are great

Good university, some lectures are below standard but mostly alright. The new buildings on campus are really nice but there's constantly construction works going on.

The accommodation and educational facilities are very good. I find my course very interesting & i'm taught by the best in the field of political science. The beautiful scenic environment includes forests, ponds & wildlife. It is a very nice and quiet environment with lively nightlife at place such as the venue or club chemistry. I enjoy the men's rugby team sport, it is a fantastic way to stay fit, only drawbacks or downsides are the cost of joining a sport (as you usually need a gym membership which can be up to £245 annually). However, if you are dedicated and active it's worth it.

The University provides great variety of educational and sports related activities outside of lesson time allowing students to be able to try new experiences or advance in already established skills.

The campus is beautiful, a lovely scenic environment with lots of forests, ponds and wildlife. The educational facilities (that I can say with confidence) which are really good, are the ones in the school of politics and international relations. The lectures & seminars are very insightful & you're taught by the best in your field. I'm apart of the men's rugby team & it has been an amazing experience so far. The sports are really good, the only thing I would critique is the cost, especially since you need a gym membership which can be up to £245, in addition, you must be dedicated to your sport of choice or union.

The University of Kent is a place where not only are there new and refurbished buildings available but also a beautiful campus. It's "green" and very vast. The campus is situated far enough from town that there is a sense of positives isolation and independency. When you leave the university for the day, you can put it behind you and separate home from work. But it's also close enough to town, that walking there isn't a problem and that means access to many necessities like shops, bars, restaurants and others. The student union is quite well organised. Many activities are overseen including charity events, overseeing the sport teams of the uni, overseeing student event like bals. They also organise the shops on campus, a large majority of all the jobs on campus are filled by students and the main "essentials" shop is led by the union itself. Finally they lead a strict policy on rules; banning discrimination, racism, bullying, sexual aggression...etc. The facilities at the university of Kent are definitely all decked out. Most of the lecture halls are all new, clean and very, very well adapted rob new technologies. Including a student care reader for attendance, touch screen and boards. New science laboratories have been put in place, a new crime scene house included for forensic students. The library was very newly refurbished and renovated. Overall, the University of Kent is a place where you learn, have fun, make friends and all in all, get a degree while having a life!

The campus is so good, classrooms are easily to find from the website which is really convenient to the students who aren't familiar to the campus. The library is so good and so comfortable, would like to spend whole day staying in library to study. The quiet study area isn't really quiet, people still talking so loud and disturbing. The librarians aren't stopping them from disturbing others people even they have noticed this problem.

I study at the University of Kent, Medway campus. This campus is in the heart of Chatham and I am fortunate enough to study on the infamous Chatham Dockyard where I constantly witness the amazing music that comes from the dockyard, not only that but the tourists we see and the filming that goes on. Over my time at uni, I have seen 'Call the Midwife', 'Holmes and Watson' starring Will Ferrell and a couple of bollywood films being produced while I hed to lectures. It gives the students great opportunities to be extras and get some extra cash. We also get to study in the amazing original facilites on the dockyard, including the clocktower, fire station and foundry. The foundry is our state of the art recording studio in a phenomenal old building next to the fire station with two more studios and an ambisonic room next door. The library is one of the biggest in Europe and contains so many books, journals, E-books and scores to aid us with out assignments.

Amazing. There is so much support from the university on all student matters be it academic, social, accommodation related and similar others. This university is a highly student-centric one and has left no stone unturned for facilitating its students.

Great support service available on campus to help with student well being. They are very good at helping with mental health issues or just general advice

Fantastic Campus with an amazing view from the library. Everything you'd need is on campus. Lovely accommodation which is close to central campus

Fantastic campus with lots of facilities, though it would be lovely to see a larger variety of foods/items in the Student Union shop and if the campus bars/pubs were open later than 12 PM (around 1 AM would be perfect on the weekends or at least Fridays or Saturdays). Organisation and communication before coming to the uni could be improved, but has been good thus far during my time here. I have not used career services yet, but heard good news about them. I am enjoying my course (media/film), though I hope they will expand the arts-based subjects with more practice-based modules in the future!

A great teacher doesn't just teach you, they inspire you. Here at Kent, we are renowned for a teaching style that brings your subject to life and encourages you to think independently. Our academics have an outstanding ability to pass on their passion for study and debate. As some of the most influential thinkers in the world, they put you in touch with the latest ideas and ensure you are intellectually challenged.

I am currently in my third year at the University of Kent studying film. Throughout my time at this university I have felt incredibly safe and secure due to the constant presence of Campus Security, and their 24/7 service. I belong to the School of Arts, and can say honestly that all of the staff are passionate, not just about their subjects but about the students themselves. I feel comfortable talking to my tutors about any issues or problems I have, and they are more than happy to answer any questions I have about any assignment. I believe my school has contributed hugely to my happiness and success at the University and I am incredibly satisfied with my time here - so much so, I am looking to do a Masters here next year. The facilities on campus are perfect for my needs; there is plenty of space to study, the recent library extension has vastly increased the space for seating and comfort for students and the food outlets are varied and reasonably priced. The Student Union, in honesty, have not stood out to me across my time here as being particularly visible on campus; they keep themselves to themselves, but they are constantly busy organising events for students! This year I have noticed the ambassadors being more active than in previous years so maybe our representatives this year want to improve their visibility and approachability. Overall I have had a fantastic experience at Kent and hope to stay on for further study in the future!
