Great facilities and love my course because it provides me with the means to get a good job. Love my accomodation it’s small but enough space for one person with lots of stuff. Love the nightlife especially because the student union are very much involved in organising nights at the local club the venue and drinks are reasonably priced for students on a budget. I haven’t had an experience with the career service but have heard from others that they’re very helpful and also the library is perfect, there’s lots of space for everyone.

Beginning with the campus, the buildings themselves are fairly new with the business school only recently being built, the library is in the centre of campus and it is pretty large although during exam times I can be a struggle trying to find room, nevertheless there are countless study rooms scattered across campus that can be used. On campus there are many places to eat offering a wide variety of different types of food, due to the location of the university however to town, the nearest actual supermarket is a 10-15 minute walk, there is a on campus shop called ‘essentials’ which as the name suggests stock all essentials but they are very overpriced even though it is run by the student union. The accomdation I am in is very new (Tyler court) with spacious rooms, nice kitchen and its not very far from where my lectures take place. My course having studying a MSc in Finance, Investments and Risk is as one would expect with any postgraduate course, a rollercoaster experience however the support available from the university, the business school aswell as my lecturers and seminar leaders is unparalleled.

Did a four year course which included a placement year - was very insightful. Came back to my final year of university feeling fully prepared for life after graduation!

The campus is quite big but really easy to navigate with everything marked clearly. Having a separate section for parkwood gives a unique experience that makes you feel like you don't live on campus, yet are still close enough to everything.

The campus is absolutely beautiful, so much greenery with baby rabbits in the spring. Surrounded by beautiful walk ways, relaxing areas, and a picturesque city location. The teaching is excellent with an amazing mental health support team which has proved invaluable.

Good teaching and lecture materials. Poor external support. Terrible town. Racist locals. Rubbish people

My uni tries their best to provide a good overall service. I think they do well - the union fights very hard to make the university transparent. We’ve just had four weeks of strikes and we are waiting to see what concessions will come out of it. The uni does email us with updates, but now I want results. We seem to get a new building every year - facilities are always being updated. I love the careers service, I have worked closely with them many times.

During my time at Kent UNi i truly had the best time, from meeting amazing people, to a great support that was offered from staff. I highly recommend to choose Kent for UNI as it was truly best time of my student life

I have had many issues with my Masters, from organisation to teaching etc. But they are trying to rectify these now I have spoken out about them.

The campus isn’t too difficult to find your way around, walking distance (30mins) from the city centre and and has plenty of coffee, food and drinking spots on sight. Facilities for my humanities course are great since this mostly consists of the library. The religious studies course has a range of great modules but some lecturers are definitely preferable to others. The students union is great in some areas like employment, societies, general updates and events, but we dont have an SU bar.

Both of the campus are easy to move around and provides not only teaching facilities but also fantastic places to eat and drink. The campuses are vibrant and the there are loads of places to hangout and do work. My course is interdisciplinary and therefore very interesting. The student union contacts us reguarly and hosts loads of events and support facilities. The careers service helped me with securing a placement by cv writing and interview practices.

The university has been an alright experience so far. The department of computing more specifically is very supportive and helpful however, I feel that Medway as a campus isn't as well and complete as Canterbury and there is a noticeable difference. The facilities and buildings are not sufficient for the current students in so many ways. For example, one of the buildings that is being used to teach a maths module doesn't even have an interactive board or visual recording so we can not look over the lecture recordings to see how they did the working out.

The University of Kent is a really nice University as it has everything you need on campus. You have a nightclub on campus, you have shops, restaurants and so much more. The University is always expanding and renewing buildings which is a nice touch if you have lectures in a new building! They have also recently built a new library which is easy on the eye and really nice feature to the university.

The university of Kent is a campus based university. The standard of education is at quite a high calibre and the university has made the course that I am studying (law) very interesting. It is merely an hour away from London and travel back and forth is extremely easy! The people at the university are very warm and receptive and you will always feel welcome especially when you are a new student coming in at first year.

One of the best things about my university is how beautiful it is. I love the nature around us. The trees and the animals. Specially the bunnies which the uni is known for. The facilities are great. My learning and teaching experience is amazing. Teachers and lectures help so much and always try to do the best for us. Our Kent union offers amazing activities and events that have made my social life with my friends so enjoyable.

All lecturers are very helpful and friendly and always available when needed. Computer science course is extremely well organised. The campus is large with many facilities local to us for example a bank on campus. Careers services are very supportive and helped me to find my industrial placement. The student union are very enthusiastic but this can sometimes get irritating.

The campus is one of the nicest ones I have seen, and all staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. There are many societies which provide for the interests of many different people so that everyone feels included.

The campus is well laid out and easy to get to all places. Now that the library is fully open it's great for studying. My course was Astronomy, Space Science and Astrophysics. The physics department at Kent is tragically disappointing, with a really weak support system for struggling students. I also would say that the mental health support for those with severe problems is rubbish in Canterbury.

Amazing uni. Awesome range of courses. Really good and approachable staff. Amazing campus facility but the accommodation on campus can be expensive. Although they help with off campus accommodation too.
