Languages student, quite happy about the courses they offer. University allows you to study even 3 languages in your first year, having courses at different levels. Highly recommended!

Glasgow university is a beautiful uni! With great tutors, facilities and sports facilities I would recommend it to anyone thinking of going. However there is minimal contact time with many courses and not as many assignments for the money we pay which is disappointing. Learning at such a historic university with great scholars partly balances out the issues previously discussed. Also Glasgow is a great city for any student to study and explore.

Loads of societies and choice with subjects/places to eat/halls. Beautiful main building and good lecture halls and classrooms. Nice that campus is all together, not spread out over Glasgow. Great transport links to campus. Student learning service is amazing, you can book 1-1 appointments with tutors in your subjects.

It's a very stuck up university, everyone thinks they are great, but when you find the right people enjoyable

I have had such a positive experience at my university in Glasgow. It is easy to make friends here, which I have noticed as a student moving here from Finland. The campus is beautiful, it looks like Hogwarts. The Glasgow University Union is the best! So many fun events and such a good place to spend time with your friends. My course is English Literature and I've found it very interesting. All in all, I love it here.

Beautiful campus in the west end with lecturers that really care about their subjects and welcome conversation. The two student unions are both pretty good.

The campus is very pretty and well maintained. The library is very big and has a variety of research tools. Sometimes during busy study times it can be hard to find a seat but on the whole it is spacious and confortable.

Great library with 12 floors which offer different types of study spaces to suit everyone! Separate language library with facilities specifically for modern language students also very helpful. Beautiful buildings. Food can be a bit expensive if you don't bring your own lunch and have to buy it at Uni.

Glasgow University has a stunning campus and excellent facilities. It has one of the biggest ranges of clubs and societies in the country and boasts 4 student bodies. They’re plenty of extra curricular activities to get involved with which look great on your CV. The teaching and staff are excellent and go above and beyond to help you.

Overall a good university with lots of good points. Buildings do range in quality/facilities with some significantly better equiped than others. By far the biggest issue is the wide range of issues caused by the online systems of the uni. Often issues with timetables during enrollment, have personally been enrolled in a course I should not have been able to enroll in which resulted in me falling a week behind in the class I eventually got swapped to. Some of the better features provided with the online systems are often not used by lecturers such as video recording of the lectures.

Overall the University is fantastic. The buildings are beautiful, the facilities are pretty good, the clubs/societies are never-ending and the gym is amazing! Some parts are a little behind the times so to speak in terms of technology and design and the library never has enough seats but otherwise it’s great!

Looks like Hogwarts and teaches better than most. Excellent reputation and internationally known for it's field of medicine (2nd best in the UK) and advancements in various fields including cardiology and neuroscience, as demonstrated by the creation of the Glasgow Coma Scale used for assessment of consciousness worldwide. Moreover, it is a vibrant and lively location in the west end of Glasgow, great for social activity and entertaining events.

Glasgow has a really good atmosphere about it. Everyone is really willing to learn which is just so encouraging, you’ll never feel nervous to speak out or be passionate and thats really important. The campus is beautiful and although it’s really big, you will always find your way about. Plenty of facilities at your fingertips, basically everything you’ll need.

The university as a whole is very good. The library is a good size with plenty of computer spaces. There are two unions, plenty of cafes and good transport links to the city centre. Life sciences courses are generally well organised although some time assignments don’t get marked within the time frame given.

I am an exchange student and I find that the services by the university is good. Although it does not have the luxury of sparse land and abundance of high-tech class rooms, the lecturers do their best.

The lectures themselves are of a high quality, with intellectual teaching staff and lovely lecture venues and locations. The sports facilities within the University are state of the art and very modern, especially when compared to the options available to other universities.
