Uni is 10/10 would recommend to a smart friend. Everyone is very helpful and there’s lots of support in place. Timetables are usually accurate though sometimes things can be double booked and confusing.

Great uni, great location. Some departments are poorly organised. Lots of societies and clubs lots of students from lots of cultures

University of Glasgow is a well recognised successful university! The courses are well structured with much support received from lectures and staff.

Glasgow School of Art part of the GU associated institutions provided great opportunity to explore and develop cross disciplinary skills through the environment and set up of courses. Though disorganised in parts the experience that it provides and connections that can be created are fantastic and really allow for the blossoming of innovative ideas.

University is located in the most beautiful part of the city and the campus looks lovely. An amazing and cozy place to be a part of. My courses of film&tv + philosophy were interesting, not always the best but still thought provoking and broadening my mind. One of the best decision in my life was coming here. I'm not involved with unions but it seems that they are doing a great job.

Regarding the campus and facilities, they are pretty good. My course belongs within the medical school, so most of our classes are taking place in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, which is in a location not convenient for anyone. The student union is good and organises a lot of stuff. In general my course is completely unorganised, the deadlines by the lecturers and the secretaries are not met and they are informing us about everything in the last minute.

It is a wonderful university. Pretty international. Good teachers. Great infrastructure. Good social life. Scotland is beautiful anyway, can get very cold for few months.

The campus has a few dull brown buildings that are an eyesore, but the Harry Potter-eque main Halls are the University's saving grace. The gym facilities are amazing, and the revamped library seems a lot more organised than before. QMU and GUU are both great student unions to join, and both have a lot to offer. The course I am taking - Veterinary Medicine - is engaging, stimulating and challenging, and also very rewarding.

The university of Glasgow offers flexible options of subject, active student unions and a enjoyable general student experience. The advisors are very helpful and avaliable and the university offers a lot of help with careers and internships. The gym is affordable and has a wide range of equipment however on Sundays it closes at 4:30. Glasgow university offers a wide range of unique societies and sports for example quiditch and the dog society. My campus is a difficult system to get used to but generally everything is well organised. Lecturers are helpful and always avaliable for questions. I would definitely recommend the University of Glasgow for a great degree programme and student experience.

Beautiful campus with great facilities, my course is intellectually stimulating and very enjoyable with good lecturers and lab leaders who make it fun. Advising team are lovely but could be more helpful when it comes to offering advice regarding mental health difficulties as they were a bit dismissive when I went to them however they do have a great counselling service that any student can use for free and they are very helpful

The University has a modern look, most lecture halls are recently renovated and equipped with projectors. Library is top notch with lots of available computers. If you are in the halls you will also be 10 minutes away from 80% of the POI in the city.

Good facilities for engineering. required software's are all provided and easily accessible. Lecturers are all leaders in their field with excellent knowledge and interesting research. Could provide more practical opportunities for hands on learning. Unions and societies are excellent and very inclusive.

The university grounds are great and location is prime. Sports and recreation is top class. Course choice in later years for mechanical engineering was limited however. Library becomes very crowded but other buildings are less busy

Excellent quality of teaching with great library facilities and additional, subject-specific libraries. The campus is beautiful and well-maintained.

The university campus is tightly packed which is good when you need to rush between lecture buildings, and the amount of study spaces in the library, the reading room, and the Fraser building are great and you can usually always find a seat - even in exam season. The glasgow University Union is great for hive nights and beer bar and always has great events on that aren’t too pricey.

Being at Glasgow has been an invaluable life experience for me, and ultimately I wouldn’t change my decision to come here for university. However, within my departments there have been shortcomings to my education which I feel could have easily been rectified, however haven’t been due to some staff. Organisation of final year students has been particularly bad in this academic year (2017/18). As well as this, the strike action and weather disruption was particularly badly handily by staff in regards to treatment of students. The attitudes and actions by some, and not all lecturers, come across as very self serving. This is not to say I don’t support lecturers in their right to strike. I ultimately just have serious problems with the way in which staff have used and dealt with their students during this industrial action, which ultimately I feel has damaged their relationships with students.

The university overall is great and beautiful and was a great experience. However, the psychology department is a mess. I'll be graduating sad and disappointed. No hands on experience, no fair assessment, no fair marking. Bad.

The university overall is fantastic, with great facilities and a beautiful campus. The course is both exciting and challenging. The lecturers are great, passionate and professional.

The campus is amazing. It is like you study in Hogwarts. You don't get to have too many lectures in the main building, i.e. the castle, but you still get enough. There are many places for food to feed the hungry students, so variety is ensured. 2 student unions, with different bars and facilities, like pool, foosball, etc. It's cheap compared to other places as well!

Life at Glasgow University has been amazing, there's so much to get involved in, including a large variety of societies and sport clubs. Whilst on campus, there's so much beautiful architecture and history to the university, that never fails to entertain both students and visitors. I am privileged to have been able to spend 2 years here already, and I am ecstatic about the next 2.

Good overall facilities and support for students. Some excellent lecturers who are often willing to offer support for struggling students especially at exam time.
