Great campus and fun uni. Study Mechanical Engineering. Great but in later years subject choice was limited

The main campus is pretty and it's well located in terms of public transport. The gym facilities are amazing and the library is great for resources. The unions have something for everyone and the nightlife is good.

The courses are overall intriguing, professors are well preparared and the only complaint I have so far is about the time they take to give you exam feedback. It’s never less than 1 monh and a half

Some would say this is the best uni in Scotland. It very much depends what you're looking for, but I agree.

The campus facilities are amazing, and the library has everything you could ever wish for - just sometimes it gets a bit too crowded. The gym is amazing too, and the price to join is very reasonable. There is a possibility to get involved in any kind of sport.

My lecturers and tutors have made subjects enjoyable and capitivating. There are loads of facilities spread out over campus which is useful. Both of the student unions have lots of events going on quite a lot of the time. Careers services are good with careers fairs being regular.

The University of Glasgow is a spanning campus with a wide range of varied class options, as well as lots of societies and events to suit everyone's needs. With all of this activity there is a lot of support for individuals, however the vastness and fast paced basis of the site and teaching means it is very easy to get lost amongst the crowd.

The campus and facilities at Glasgow Universty are 10/10! I love that they have kept the authentic historical look and build modern buildings without ruining the campus. Having 2 student unions is something which many universities can’t compete with - it means there is always something for everyone and plenty of room. I love this university and I am so grateful to have experienced studying here

As this is my second year at the university of Glasgow i am glad to choose to study here as i am very satisfied with staff teaching my course (business management), with the univetsity buildings and most important for the unilife that is amazing here in Glasgow. In addition, the fact that we are not paying any fees(around 1800 per year but paid by scottish government through SAAS applications) makes it even more amazing as an idea for studying here. Glasgow is the third biggest city in UK therefore it is such a big city no one can get bored of either living or studying here. Its nightlife is amazing and especially for students as many clubs and bars create events almost everyday espexcially for the students. In overall its an amazing idea to study here and i think it for sure the best available option i had to spend my 4 years of unilife.

Stunning campus. Studying law, students have great fun in and out of lectures. Luckily Glasgow has two unions so there’s Lots of choice, both have loads of events, including the Daft friday extravaganza. The internship hub have helped me get an internship at citizens advice.

What I love about my university is the fact that they provide literally everything that shape our professional career.

Great and fun University. Plenty of clubs and societies to join and meet new people. The campus isn’t too spread out, so easy enough to get from A to B. Also, not too far from the city centre. Good location to live in a city without being in the heart of it. The library has plenty of recources but does get extremely busy during exam times!

I love Glasgow so much it is the best university in the world and it's a dream come true. I wish i could be 20 and stay here living this life forever, the dark abyss of my future never coming true, just living as a happy wee student off of SAAS forever. Everyone I know at Glasgow loves it it is perfect and Im really really really really lucky to go here.

Everyone in Glasgow is brilliant and friendly. The campus itself is beautiful and well equipped. There are numerous different study spaces catered for all different styles of learning. I really enjoy studying at the University and have made great friends who can help you through in your studying. The location is great being in the west and but also very connected to the centre for facilities. The go abroad team are great as are the financial department for getting your student life/year abroad in order.

The campus is very nice and the area is by a park which is very pretty. The location is great. There are bus stops and subways stations nearby. Very easy to travel to even from a distance.

Overall my experience at UofG has been great, I have loved my courses and the social life! Biggest negative is the organisational skills of many tutors and staff are abysmal.

The university is great. There is so much to do both for learning and entertainment. The campus is large with many facilities and is easily sign posted. It also looks stunning and the location is like no other. It is close to many shops and pubs which is very important for us students. There are good transport links along with cyclig racks and car parks. There are great hotspots to meet your friends and very friendly staff! My course is very intellectually stimulating with really nice lecturers and tutors. This makes the overall experience so much better! There union makes you very engaged in the uni life along with the student bar and activities. Overall it has been really great.

I am currently studying International Law and Security at the University of Glasgow. The campus is huge, with a high number of buildings, spread out, not just around the main building. The main building is beautiful, showing a great resemblance with Hogwarts in the Harry Potter books. The facilities are great. The gym is well equipped and the career services and guidance provided is very high quality. The courses are taught by prestigious experts who have widespread experience in practice. The teaching is very high quality encouraging students to embrace the importance of critical thinking, especially due to the issues present nowadays. All in all, the University of Glasgow, one of the highest ranking universities in the UK, certainly lives up to its name!

The overall 1st year experience has been a positive one , however this is not down to the excellence of the University, instead more general reasons. The campus is beautiful but quite spread out and is very awkward to try to get from one building to another on the other side of campus in under 10 minutes. Also the library is constantly too full to get work done on a computer. However the book selection there is excellent and the librarians are extremely helpful. The GUU is significantly better than QMU in terms of atmosphere and nightlife however the Hive Clubnight plays awful, saturated chart music.

The university of Glasgow has become more of a business than an academic establishment. The research done there seems to take more of a priority than the students and many courses are poor and loads are new, making it tough to understand what is going on or difficult to work out what to expect in exams. However, the unions and the student life is great and there are plenty of services. Just a poor effort from some lecturers.

I love my university. There is a union where students can go to relax after lectures and just have a drink and play some pool. There is a gym facility in the sports union with a swimming pool, gym, sauna and halls for various sports. The environment across the campus is so friendly and filled with people from all different backgrounds which is great! There is plenty of support available for students with learning difficulties or career advice etc.

The campus is great, well connected and with lots of facilities! The university itself has a high respect towards its students, and the content provided generally has a high standard. I study Electronics and Software Engineering. I can say that the electronics technician and lecturers are really good and they are all talented. Computing science lecturers are very talented and smart as well, but so far i found a couple of them lacking of a proper ability to teach.
