I've lived here all my life and I still find there is so much to explore. There are so many places to eat and as a foodie, I get so excited to try new restaurants and cuisines. You can find great places to visit on a budget. I guess a place you can't go wrong with is Nandos. For shopping, I'd recommend Westfield Stratford or Oxford Street. You can find good things but because I can get impatient when it's busy, I prefer online shopping.

London is a vibrant and happening city with a lot of good student deals on food, entertainment and nightlife. The only thing is that transport and accommodation is rather expensive!!

I have always lived in London and chose to study here because it would be familiar and that's one less thing to worry about when starting uni. The travel is great as we even have the night tube so whether you're going to uni or coming back from a night out you'll be sure to get home. There's a lot of diversity in culture and in food and areas like Holborn and Tottenham Court Road have plenty of student deals for places to eat. The ibly thing is that London is extremely expensive and you don't always get your value for money.

The city is wonderful, busy, and lively. The only thing is, it's incredibly expensive and surprisingly difficult to get different offers for students in many places though they may exist. However, it is very easy to get around.

Best thing about London is the food. You go from one street to the next and cover all the major cuisines all the way from Japanese to Mexican. But, the quality of food is also incredible. It's very difficult to find a (non-chain) restaurant that you dislike and that's what I love about living in this city.

Favourite place to go for brunch and browse the stores is Northcote Road in Battersea. Love brunch at Brew, Argos, Bills.

London is great for the variation in choices for evenings out, although more often than not, it is not overly student friendly in terms of budget, perhaps why many nightclubs have disproportionate numbers of more middle aged clubbers, meaning some events can feel quite aged.

Well... What can you say about London? The place to be? The greatest city in the world? The first thing that was a shock for me when moving to the big city from my small hometown was definitely the multicultural areas of the capital. When coming from a town where there isn't much diversity, or other noticable cultures, it was a real eye-opener for me. How can it be that a 2 hour drive can go from such a small minded set of people to being in the middle of all sorts of different people, with different backgrounds, different beliefs, different lifestyles. Of course with larger areas, comes a larger amount of crime, but when taking a more in-depth look at this, if you don't get in to the wrong groups of people, you will hardly ever see the crime taking place. As for things to do, after almost 18 months living in the capital, I'm yet to find myself struggling for things to go and do, and see. The transport getting around is made simple with the underground, and if thag doesn't take your fancy, there is always a bus and with a fare of £1.50 to go anywhere, you can't go wrong. The nightlife puts London on another level for people from the places that have all gone home by 11:30pm, as you will find people partying, clubs raving, kebab houses serving all night long, any day of the week. With shopping comes a lot of queueing, but with such a wider range of shops available to you, it's worth the wait queueing to be able wear that new outfit that makes you look fresh. You'll never run out of food to eat, with a new place to eat every single day if you wanted to. Many different variants of food are on offer, but you have the try some of the chip shops in Leicester Square. They will take you on a journey you've never been on before. The value for money, if you embrace the entire city and explore, is very high. The only issue is with higher wages, and more things to do, comes a higher expenditure. For a student, go out and have fun! For the more senior person, maybe not so much, but if your choosing to live here, it can't be all bad! Can it?

Very cosmopolitan with a modern vibe. The city itself is traditional, encompassing the true heritage of Britain without diminishing the the new style of recent developments, particularly in central London.

I'm just gonna say it, London is amazing. I come from a little town in Spain and this city is game-changer. Amazing transport, many different foods and restaurants from all over th world, my university is awesome (LSBU rocks!) the change from euros to pounds is a little expensive, but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to do. You have an awful lot of options when it comes to nights out, from great clubs like Ministry of Sound in Elephant and Castle, to your neighborhood pub. You will have a lot of things to do and tons of landmarks to visit, my favorite one is the Sky Garden, you have an amazing view of the city, and when it come to shopping, you just gotta hit Oxford Street, you have everything, and when I say everything I mean EVERYTHING, another great place to go shopping, Camden Town, the little old shops collide with the street wear shops like Vans and other. So overall score, 5 stars, London is amazing.

London night out is like no other, clubs for the high end, low end, those who just like to go for a drink to those who like to party until 6am. So much to see and do, from visiting the queen to going to the aquarium. The only thing would be money - London is very expensive but most places you do get what you pay for. The food in London is also amazing - sushi, Chinese, traditional English food whatever you want London has got it. Some of the best shopping in the country also at Westfield, oxford street, Camden market the whole lot.

There is an endless amount to do and see in London from visting great landmarks such as the big Ben and London Eye to more exciting London dungeon and for the faint hearted London Zoo and Kew Gardens are an excellent shout. The food scene is bursting with flavour rich and diverse- Camden market and spitalfields are must visits. For those in the City, Petticoat Lane and the Kerb near the Gherkin are excellent lunch places.

Lots of landmarks to see and visit, including tower bridge, a vast range of restaurants, ranging from Chinese to British and from Asian to jamaican. Really good transport links to the city at cheap prices. At night time you can catch a lit vibe with easy transport links home

London is such a great city, a hub for internationals from all over the world, diffrerdi cultures, languages and ethnic backgrounds all mixed in the big city full of colour and life!! The nightlife in London may be expensive if you fall into tourist traps but there are so many cheaper bars and clubs if you do your research properly! Food is SO food, literally food from every cuisine you can think of, high end and cheaper, depends on what you like. London is awesome all in all and there is so much to do!

I thoroughly enjoy living in London! Night life is amazing, you will never run out of bars, pubs or clubs to visit! These can be expensive depending on where you go but there are often cheap student nights in clubs as well. London is always busy and there is always something going on! There's lots to do. The only downside about living in London is it is very expensive.

London has a tonne of things to do and see but it can be quite pricey. The public transport links are great especially with the Night Tube.

Nights Out are good, but can be super expensive. Generally I think people expect food in London to be crazy expensive but I don't find it to be so, you just need to know where to look. Camden market or borough market (those kinda places) are good to be getting food from. It's easy to get everywhere though a bit expensive, £2 a journey for an adult on the tube I think; and it does add up.

Best place to live in the UK, so much diversity you'll meet someone from everywhere. The food is great with so many hidden gems. London can be expensive but it's so easy to have a great lifestyle while budgeting.

London is perhaps the best place to go is you want the the true breadth and depth of what can be offered in university life.

There is such a wide variety of food motives where to start! Living in Borough I can wholly recommend both the Gentleman's Barista for coffee and a delicious well priced student brunch meal! Perfect for those weekend catch ups! Borough has recently had the addition of Padella which never fails to have a queue all the way round the building into Borough Market when I pass! Late night sweet tooth? The local Creams has got your back! There's plenty to do to wether you want to got for a stroll down the river to Tower Bridge or have a delve down into the London Dungeons there's something for everyone in London!

Attracting thousands of tourists monthly, Greenwich is a very multicultural and diverse Borough, which also happened to turn Royal in 2012. There are a lot of landmarks that Greenwich are recognised for especially The O2, The Cutty Sark Ship, some of Britain's royal Palaces and even Crossness Engines Sewers. It is said that the UK's first McDonald's was located in Woolwich, within the borough. The biggest fact that I can share is that the time around whole world runs according to the GMT which stands for 'Greenwich Meantime'. So Greenwich is definitely worth a visit.

I love London, the lights, the glam, the action. A night out in Piccadilly, your greeted with music, vibes, atmosphere and great socialable people. London is a hub of people, different ethnicity, different lifestyles, different foods, etc, and this is the main reason I love it here, you can always find something to do, or something to eat!
