This is the best city you could study in. Especially the fact that everything is surrounding you including great food and shopping centres which are pretty cheap (best thing for a student)! The location should have great impact of your uni choice and London has everything to offer.

I live in East London and I find that it is perfect for being a drama student. Of course it is expensive in London but aside from the money, I can get into central London so easily. Any night of the week I can head into the centre and see so many different shows and be able to come back due to the night tube. There is something for everyone in London!

Lots of yummy food! There are a lot of variety of cuisines so there's always something for everyone or you can be adventurous and try something new. However, eating out can be pricey...

If I could choose again, I would study somewhere else. London is too expensive!!!! What everybody has already heard probably, but it's true. Parties are really good but again - tickets are ridiculously expensive, an avarage student can't afford it. And it's far to get anywhere, despite the public transport is really good, you have to pay 110 quid for a month travel card. Money money money you can have as much fun somewhere else as well!

London is a wonderful place to study. It is filled with many opportunities to meet new people and experience new things. It accomodated for people of all different backgrounds and beliefs, with something to do for everyone. In London, you are spoilt for choice of food with transport around the big city being so easy. One downside however, is how expensive this beautiful city is. Accomodation ranges from 500-1500 per calendar month, and with student finance not covering the entire cost, it can be stressful for students to meet a good standard of life. On the other hand, it is filled with activites that are free such as walking to the top of primrose hill and seeing the breath taking site of the entire city and so you can never be bored.

London has everything you could possibly need or want! It’s fun, busy and always interesting. While there are issues with the cost of living here, and sometimes it can feel just too big and too busy, being at the centre of so much is a great opportunity and one that is hard to miss when you live here.

London is full of nightlife, dining and entertainment. There are many places to go and see. Just around our university we have a bunch of restaurants and pubs, as well as fast food places for a quick fix. The transport links are amazing. You can find a tube station mostly everywhere, so getting from point A to B is no struggle. The transport is quite expensive, but still affordable if you know how to avoid expensive zones. There are many shopping centres and markets. London is one of the best places to shop. Nightlife varies a lot, so anyone can find something to do on any day of the week.

The location is just near the main campus. It's quite convenient to have a drink after a whole day's hard work. As the location is just in the central London, you could do anything nearby within 20 min's walk, such as big supermarket, several high-rated restaurants and Oxford Street. It's quite good venue for university activities. Additionally, it's quite safe at night with a very low crime rate.

The location is quite good. A lot of transport methods could arrive. The local area is very safe with a very low crime rate. Within 20 min's walk, you could to shopping in Oxford Street or Regent's Street, watch movies or theater near Leicester Square or eat a lot of nice food all over the world in the very high rated restaurants. However as it is in central London, the price is a bit high but acceptable. In conclusion, the location is very good and satisfying.

Shopping is the best there is in the UK and there are loads of things to do! Nightlife is good, could be better but in comparison to other cities it's still probably the best. All round the best city to be a young person.

Queen Mary University of London is situated in an area that is only a few stops away from Central London but also conveniently located in East London. It's only one stop away from Westfield, Stratford, and a 5-10 minute walk to Whitechapel. The area boasts a range of pubs, restaurants, museums and parks and there are many things to do for recreation from Mile End climbing wall to enjoying Victoria Park.

London is a great place to study. There are so many nice and quiet cafe's to do work or hang out with friends. Transport is so easy and reliable, although it is getting more expensive with an 18+ oyster card you can get a monthly, weekly or daily travel card for a discounted price.

Excellent location. Close to central London and all the nightlife and shops. Can be quite expensive but it’s worth it
