Value for money is low. Things are very expensive but there is a large choice. I like the London travel service a lot. And the shopping experience is amazing and offers varying experiences.

In lots of ways everything is more complicated and expensive in London, everything costs more, no one drives, you can't just go to a big Tesco. Nights out are expensive. But in terms of the food on offer, places to go and things to do there is understandably more choice than anywhere else, and so much to discover.

London is super fun, there is so much to do. It is such a culturally diverse city that there really is something for everyone, whether that is going for food, going for a night out or even doing an activity with friends. There are so many free activities too which are perfect for students. I definitely recommend London as a place to visit.

Amazing place to live! If you can afford it of course... There's always something fun to do day or night and you'll never see all of London even if you live there all your life

London is a buzzing city that never sleeps. There's always something interesting and fun to do. I'd recommend downloading the Timeout app to find plenty of free stuff to do.

There is everything you can think of in London, but it can be pricey, and things take quite long to get to.

Many many things to look forward to in London, from going out to eat in places of different cuisines, to activities such as golfing which give out student discount as well! The city is full of surprises every street you walk down and there is always something new to do if you're looking to explore. Many sight seeing places as well which are free to enter such as sky gardens and the Tate modern. This is great for students and those who are on a budget. There's a lot of entertainment going on as well such as theatre musicals for Aladdin, lion king, Matilda and many more. These are perfect for a date night or a day out with friends! With loads of restaurants surrounding the theatres, you're deffo in for a good night out. With winter wonderland opening it's doors every winter at Hyde park, this Christmas vibe in London just feels fantastic!

Ealing Broadway has a wide variety of shops and place to eat. There is a local bar called west 5, which turns into a club and is one of the best places to visit on a Friday night. Transport links are amazing too. with easy links to Paddington, 8 minute train, Piccadilly line at south ealing and central/district line at Ealing Broadway. There is a bowling alley and cinema close by which is easy to get too on the tube. Kingston is very close with easy access to Pryzm. There is a gym in Ealing which offers student deals and worth the money. There are many pubs in Ealing which serve good food and some do student deals too.

An amazing place to be; vibrant, full of life- full of people. You're never alone and will never feel lonely with so much to do and see! Super fast transport and so many student clubs and bars and prices. Expensive rent- but mostly worth it

Loads of areas to visit, whatever you need there is a 90% chance you'll find it in London. It's a city which can have all your shopping needs down one road. The only downside to London is the traffic, rush hour being the worst time of the day. Just make sure to get out early.

Beautiful city. Easy to get lost in but once you find yourself, its a surround to remember. Nights may be worrying but public transport always keeps you safe

London is an amazing city with lots to do and see. I have travelled to many cities within England and abroad and I always find that for me london is my favourite. It has such a diverse population, so many different restaurants to eat out in, London has you spoilt for food choices. However food can be very expensive as London does have a range of Michelin starred restaurants however you can also find cheaper restaurants on average prices for entrees at restaurants is around 10 pounds. In terms of nights out there are also many choices, however unlike most cities e.g Leeds there is not really a strip of night clubs and bars that everyone goes to the clubs and bars in London are spread apart in the different areas of London as it is a very big city. The clubs can be very expensive in London for entry can cost around 20 pounds and drinks are also very expensive in comparison to other parts of England it costs 10 pounds for a jägerbomb in some places 🙄. However there are many different clubs with different music and the nights out are excellent. There are student nights also where is it much cheaper. Mayfair has some exclusive night outs in some fancy clubs however you usually require a promotor and these clubs can be quite sexist as girls get free entry and boys have to pay 20 pounds.... Overall the city is absolutely beautiful especially during Christmas when the lights are up all over Oxford Circus, harrods, John Lewis etc there is a lot of shopping also to be done in this wonderful city. However to truly enjoy all London has to over you do need to have quite a bit of money.

Value for money is quite low given the expensive nature of the city. Despite this, there is much to do and many good bars, clubs and shopping centres. In London you're truly spoilt for choice!

London is a bright light city , full of fun and entertainment! It's quite expensive but regardless if you're not doing something unexpected, you're seeing something unexpected!

The transport is amazing. Theres plenty of places to eat although it is very expensive. Tips are also added to the bill automatically at most places. Shops open late. Very expensive place to be but worth it if you like to be busy or have things available to you almost 24 / 7.

Living in London is very eventful. There is always something to do every weekend or night whether you want a wild or calm night out. It is full of many people from different cultures which makes it so unique and comfortable as we are able to learn from eachother and not let simple things keep us apart.

If you're tired of London you're tired of life.... it's been said so often but yet can't be more accurate. Literally had everything that you could ever want from a city, amazing food amazing street life and cultural events, music concerts, west end musicals, the lot really! The art scene is incredible and taking off again particularly around brick lane and the East end with fashion studios and the like around in the area.

Very convenient place to reside as everything needed for basic survival is within 2 metres aswell as entertainment. However, can be a segregated and divided society at times so may feel unwelcomed sometimes if new to this city. Food is amazing as there is a variety, clubs are fun however the night life is better in America, shopping is amazing and prices overall are reasonable however since brexit there has been a raise in pricing.

Everything in London is accessible and fantastic fun but it's SO expensive. I love being able to go to the theatre or out for a meal but it's not always possible because things like rent and bills cost so much more here than anywhere else in the UK. The addition of the night tube is also a fantastic thing because it's really added to the ease in travel as again, ubers are really bloody expensive. Basically, London has everything you want but you have to come in knowing that you're going to never be able to have savings ever.

There are endless things to do in the city of London. The best places for a night out is by far Shoreditch. The bars here are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is amazing. I would definitely recommend going to Cargo if you're looking for more of a club atmosphere and everything is within walking distance so you can save your pennies for the bagel shop at the end of the night! The only downside is the cost of rent as I paid over £10,000 on rent in my first year and almost £8,000 in my second year. I wouldn't suggest living here if you don't have the financial support of your parents as you will struggle in the long run. I ended up commuting in my final two years as I'd rather save that money.

With so much to do and see it's no wonder students choose to come to London to further their education. An expensive place to live it is but also a treasure trove of experiences, bars, clubs, galleries, museums, pop ups and national treasures. People from all walks of life can thrive in London regardless of religion, status, lifestyle etc and it's diversity is yet another of its charms. Dietary requirements? Spoilt for choice. Need a new hobby or some distraction? The city has you covered.
