University of Strathclyde

I'm doing Honours Physics and loving it. The course is well laid out and well supported by enthusiastic staff. Nightlife is alive and well, with Glasgow offering countless bars and nightclubs, most of which are very good. The current union is excellent, with facilities such as cafes and bars. The university itself is well reputed - it's accessible and has an exceptional library. I would thoroughly recommend attending Strathclyde.

Course is good, the lecturers are great. It's really good living here and Glasgow is one of my favourite cities.

Campus is situated in city centre which is fairly convenient for most people as there are various methods of transportation for students living close or far from the university. The one thing I dislike is the hills you have to climb to get to a particular building. This can be very time consuming especially if you have one class after right after or before the other. Ny course itself is adequate in its teaching. The support they offer and email response is great. The library also offers many resources but there are a few books I may need to buy myself as my class has a large number of students, all eyeing up the same books. Overall university is a valuable experience and as I live fairly close, it isn't too bothersome. As for the hills, they're good exercise so it isn't too bad. Good enough to give it a 4/5 rating.
