My course, architecture, is very demanding but we get a lot of support from tutors. We do not have enough studio space. Also our stundent union is awful in comparison to other unis which have more club like SU’s.

Brookes has a great atmosphere, students are friendly and staff are also willing to help you whether it is with essays or your well being. There are many societies to take part in and opportunities for you to set up your own societies. Overall experience so far is good.

It is a great uni to meet new people as there are people from all over the world therefore you can learn other people's culture and about their country

I love the campus. the JHB building is hugely inspiring and an amazing space to work in, socialisie in and just get things done. most of the things you need are around you its easy to spend a whole day in there studying and feeling comfortable, with places to go and hang our when you need a bit of a study break

It’s a nice university, especially for local students. But if you are doing a science program, you are kind of unlucky, you are based in a campus, which is similar to a graveyard, it’s literally empty. But the main campus is nice

I was really excited to come to this uni and for a good reason. I love the campus, the gardens and grounds around it are so pretty and so nice to walk around. The buildings themselves are modern looking and spacious, I really enjoy learning here. My course is law and I’m really enjoying it, the lecturers are motivated and willing to do what it takes to get you a good grade. It’s also in a really good location and having the Brookes Bus is an amazing idea. It makes travelling around Oxford so easy.

The main campus in Headington is very nice and modern, with a lot of facilities, including various cafés (one being Starbucks), a book shop, a very big library, compuer rooms, a food shop and a number of places that serve hot food. However, the food and drinks can be a little bit pricey. The library facilities are very good, with a wide range of sources and librarians specialized in different courses. The course I am studying, International Relations and Sociology, is very interesting and is a good option if your looking to study something more broad. Unfortunately, I personally think that the semesters are too short (three months), which makes the studies very intense and which makes me question whether I am getting a good value for money in tutition fees. There is a wide range of societies, but from my experience it was hard to be active at all in these, due to intense studying, but also because there was not a lot of social events going on, and which were not advertised a lot. Networking and maintaining good contact with module leaders is a little bit difficult in a big university with many students, but many of the module leaders in my course do make efforts in providing office hours and contact with their students.

Campus is so mondern and lovely! cafes everywhere, good facilities However quite expensive as full of Starbucks SU is quite bad, doesn’t have a club Careers service are amazing My course geography is very diverse and what you want to make it, most the lecturers are fab

It’s a pretty university, but does have the course which I want, just convince, since it’s close to home. The student support coordinator is very helpful in my campus( Wheatley), since there not many people their Also my campus seem haunted, but a good call of duty map

The main campus is nice and new, but very limited access to computers or printers. Student union did nothing for nights out or faculty/course nights out. Lectures were good even if half were cut short and you had read the rest of the slides at home.

Very serious staff, lots of information to be read either at the physical library or online acessing the library website, friendly environment and a lot more.

Most beautiful building I have ever seen. They provide you with all the facilities you need, tho I would consider opening a 24/7 store because there are so many students who spend the night there to read, write or chill. The atmosphere is relaxing, people from the staff are always smiling, willing to help you whenever you need something.

The best university overall. The best city to learn. Harry potter vibes all around. Recommends Oxford Brookes to all

Not a lot of space and lecture and teaching hours. However the atmosphere is good at this uni. There are lots of interesting people within the uni. The union is very good and helpful with many day to day issues

Oxford Brookes university is very much diverse, due to it's International recognition. It allows people form all around the world to adapt, learn from other cultures and grow as an individual without realising. The main campus is an attraction for any tourist to visit. Resources and library provisions are on point which allow better learning and study space for students. The individual help departments could be more student orientated and make processes more easier for already existing and perspective students. Other than that OBU is good to go and pro sustainability.

Amazing campus with great lecture halls. Plenty of things to do when there too. Good deals at student union when there for a long day with loads of people on site to help you out if needed

Oxford brookes is a great place to study it’s location to the city centre where you will find anything and everything you need is a 5 minute bus journey. The uni provides support for students whether it be finding accomodation or mitigating circumstances due to trouble at home. They focus strongly on wellbeing of students and ensure a wide range of societies and events are run that allow opportunities for many different people, there is always something going on at the uni. The student union is very small compared to other universities however town is incredibly student friendly due to the two universities and has a number of bars and clubs with student offers and discounts which are a definite must try experience

Incredible sports facilities with good student prices. Aside from the halls and lectures, its an incredible and homely place to be!

Course offers a lot, a great step into the legal world! Amazing library facilities, and lots of study space and seating available all around the university.

everything in this uni is amazing, from the campus facilities, library amenities, accomodations, BROOKES own buses free for students, the gym, the sports activities and active student clubs and everything else is just mindblowing, never imagined uni experience in the UK would be this great

Headington campus is great, good new facilities especially JHB and Clerici, can't say the same for some of the older buildings though like Gibbs or Fuller. Staff are well informed and are motivated in making your education better.

Good facilities at main campus and coffee shops. Nice new coffee place at marston road campus. Could be better supply to sockets for those of us who prefer to take computer notes at marston road campus. Could be better parking for those of us who commute from areas where buses and public transport would not arrive on time for lectures e.g. permit parking.

I am not based on the main university but at Bridgwater college, studying a FDEng motorsport engineering. I found that the initial trip to the university was a bit pointless as we only collected a university ID card, that we don't really need as we are never at the main campus, and be shown lot's of amazing facilities that we cant use unless we travel in excess of 100 miles!! As for the main campus i can't really review it as I've only been there once
