The main Headington campus has excellent facilities with everything a student could need. However the cost of food is far too expensive. Overall this campus is perfect for the modern student

The university has a great environment with all the facilities you need! The learning experience is challenging but rewarding, you really feel you're learning something. Is a recognised university. I recommend you to take advantage of all the services offered from the beginning. It can be really helpful.

People are very supportive, library is huge, a lot of spaces to study, everything is convenient, printers are everywhere. However, it can be quite hard to find a place to study during peak hours. Careers service is really good, they really help with CV and practising interviews.

I love the city and the life of the university, the buildings are modern and spacious and great when it comes to work, there is many different types of areas to get work done whether it be in groups or silent work. The placement of the uni is very close to the city centre and close to local shops which is convenient. Events at the university are very common and things such as careers help and help in general from the staff is very helpful and easy to find.

Extremely good uni, would recommend to anyone. Amazing facilities with even more amazing staff. Plenty of face time for you to ace your course.

Really inactive SU but the uni building itself is quite modern, good lecturers in law and quite a lot of resources, especially since third years can use the oxford uni library.

The campus is so modern and parts of it newly built which I love! The sports facilities are good although very expensive to use the gym and only one court for netball etc. The food places on campus are good and love that there's a Starbucks. Easy to acces everything if not a bit confusing at first. Would be nice if there were more events on campus or a proper student bar or club for a cheaper night out.

I have had a great university experience at Brookes so far! The lectures are really enjoyable and I take part in lots of extra-curricular activities including athletics and the baking society :)

Excellent course and facilities. I love the main John Henry brookes building and all the different study areas. Clerici is the newest building to be opening with very more areas for quiet study.

The staff at my campus are lovely and provide lots of help with work. All lecturers are great and go into depth with topics. They offer any advice we need. Student support services are always there for help. The campus is nice and it has a park right next to it.

Main campus is lovey amazing new buildings always being improved. Great sport facilities at headington campus. For engineering courses Wheatley campus is out of town down the motorway, bit of a trek but the auto labs have everything we could ever need.

I have been extremely disappointed with the University's communication during the application process. I believe to call it appalling is not an exaggeration.

I am a primary education student and I’m going into my third year. The university is fantastic and has amazing facilities and support network. The staff are easy to approach and experienced! The location in Oxford is far out of the city centre but the bus is direct and is only 10 minutes away. There is a range of resources to support primary education students and the library is a paradise of books for a variety of subjects!

The new John Henry Brookes and Clerici buildings are stunning, as are the libraries and lecture theaters and the gym has its own climbing wall. The Careers service runs a brilliant drop-in service and can help with CVs, interview practice and their SME paid summer internship scheme is fantastic. The Jobshop can also help you find part time work while you study. There are lots of things to do in Oxford, which is famous for its authors, libraries, museums, castle, theaters and punting on the river as well as the new Westgate shopping Center and the culture hub of Cowley Road. There are a couple of local music festivals as well as an arts and literature festival, Alice In Wonderland Day, a Christmas market, May Day and the UK's second biggest Carnival: The Cowley Road Carnival that you can enjoy or get involved in.

The campus itself is very modern and visually appealing making it a great working enviroment. The different building have many computuers which makes it easy to find a space to work and means you can switch up your working enviroments. The hospitalty course is one of the best in the country offering a vast amount of opportunities to meet industry professionals and gain experience from working at the training restaurant to placement. The lecturers are also always available for support and the careers service was useful for CV help. Overall my experience at Oxford Brookes has been very positive in all areas.

Starting university can be scary; however Brookes is one of those places that is just so friendly and laid back. It’s filled with so many different people, different characters and people with different backgrounds so you always have someone new to talk to and your friendship groups will be different from the ones you’ve grown up with and that’s amazing! The campus is so modern it looks amazing and it’s filled with all things student including a Starbucks, Brookes own deli style restaurant that looks over the campus and playing field. The library is four floors high/ with cool cubby holes to study with your friends but people also hangout just because it’s a nice area which is always nice to see. I study music and publishing which means I get to use the Richard Hamilton building which is currently under going some maitence but I have access to studios, recording equipment, books and more and you can really push your learning and expectations of yourself when you have some free periods and this is 24 hours of access which I have found really useful closer to deadline days! I have had the best two years of my life, I’ve met amazing people from all over the place and the nightlife here is amazing.

The main Headington campus at oxford Brookes is really nice with the addition of the new buildings, lots of space, classrooms and computers. As I studied here whilst one of the buildings were being built it took longer than planned and was a mess coming up to deadlines as there were no spaces in the existing library space left, and although the library was 24 hour, before the newest building was completed many computers would be taken up but they wouldn’t open up any classrooms with computers in the evenings - meaning that if you couldn’t get a space during the day as it was full, then you couldn’t come back later to find a space to do work either. For this reason I think their organisation could be better. My course was international hospitality management and it covered many areas of management and business as well as hospitality operations, giving me a great overview of management (including managing people and business) within the hospitality industry. It was great and I enjoyed it, however it could be improved by implementing areas of hospitality that aren’t often mentioned on the course, as it mostly focuses on hotels and restaurants. The careers services directly in relation to my course are very good, with CV help and connections to the industry throughout the 4 year course. The uni’s careers services itself was helpful, but didn’t seem to be helpful in helping you find a job, just help with CV and interview (which was good but not everyone knows what job they’re looking to get). The student union had some fun events especially this past year, integrating culture as well as a women’s week with free activities throughout. Overall I really enjoyed my uni experience but it can always be improved.

If you are at Headington campus you’ll have a great time, Wheatley campus is awful, it’s really out of the way and run down.
