Choosing to stay at murano halls was one of the best decisions I've made at university. I met all of my best friends here and made amazing memories that I will never forget. You will never be able to experience living in a student village after your first year, and I would highly recommend it if you are a social person. I would even recommend it if you are a bit shy and don't like going out all the time, as it is the easier way to make friends and its not all partying. Murano halls are about a 20 minute walk from the uni, which sounds like a lot but you get used to it very quickly and there is a shuttle bus too. I lived in a 12 person flat, which feel a bit cramped at times but at least I never felt lonely. The kitchen and dining area is not large enough for everyone to be cooking in at the same time, so you might have to be strategi c about when you have your dinner. However, overall I had a very positive experience at murano and would recommend it.
