Perfect location for a uni. While living on campus you can feel free to have fun with friends, and it’s only 20-30 mins from the city centre

Brighton is a great town that is safe for the lgbt community. There is various bars id say one for everyone (ranging from vinyl lovers to musical fanatics).

Always something going on and bloody beautiful living by the beach in the summer! The nightlife is varied and there’s plenty of events to choose from and the food selection for vegetarians/vegans is unrivalled.

I LOVE Brighton and couldn't be happier about living here during my studies. One of my favourite things about it is all the independent companies. There's so many indie clothes shops, restaurants and music stores which gives the city so much character. The people are extremely genuine and being near the seaside is close to home.

Brightin has several bars and pubs that are very good places to enjoy a night out, even in a weekday.

Brighton is a great place to be a student - great nightlife with student deals everywhere! Great shopping, with high street brands and independent boutiques in the lanes! And it's great being by the beach, for bbqs etc in the summer

Sussex Uni has a beautiful surrounding with nature walks, cows 5 feet from your room and beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset.

Really fun nights out, some really really great hidden gems of restaurants, the lanes are gorgeous and uni is so so close to town so easy access to all of these awesome things. Brighton can get a little bit expensive but it is all very much worth it and if you know where to go it's very easy to spend an evening in Brighton without spending your entire student loan haha!

Sussex uni is just outside of Brighton with very frequent buses running all day and night. Brighton itself is great because it is so close to London but also next to the sea. However because of this great location it does mean that accommodation is more expensive than other places.

Love the location, near the town centre and also near the uni. Clubs, train station, shops are all in walking distance. Great value for money considering location

Good location vibrant city, uni only 20 mins on the bus from the beach however food and everything is expensive though

Great for nights out, good shopping centre, variety of places for food. There’s the pier, i360, shopping, pavilion, etc. The value for money depends on what you’re looking for.

Brighton is a very cool, always bustling city. The uni however is a little too far out of town for my liking. You always have to pay for a bus and they are pricey!

A beatiful city, with a great night life! Lots of options in terms of shopping with all of the high street shops, as well as quirky independent shops in the lanes. Lovely to be near the sea too!

Value for money is good, and there are lots of shops to buy groceries. There is a lot to see and do in a brighton and the sea breeze is alleviating.

Brighton is one of the best student cities ever, a little bit pricey and I'm not the biggest fan of public transport but the cycle routes are great. The night life is amazing, the food is phenomenal (especially for veggies and vegans). Its a little bit pricey as times, but the experience is definitely worth the cost of living in such a vibrant city

Amazing open city. Amazing people. Couldn’t ask for a better city to have grown up in and to now study in

Very nice area l, friendly, potato do, better in sunny warm weather, city is quite grimy, not very clean which really shows when it’s wet out, but it’s tollerable, when it’s sunny it’s lovely, the buildings hold in the heat well but still allow for a cooling fresh breeze
