Expensive but good student nightlife and good shopping. Nice and not that big city, good bats and restaurants and nice art and space to walk around in the city centre

Everything fits really well in what I thought Aberdeen would be. Really nice student city with a lot of cheap dri king bars and night clubs with different music styles. The climate is the least liked thing. When it snows supermarkets collapse, food arrives late to be distributed and few food is available. Food is not bad, few traditional food to taste but a lot of international choices are available. Eventhough, eating wrll is much more expensive than eating bad, as fast food is sometimes cheaper than healthy one. Trasport always arrives late, even if there are a lot of bus lines although the service to the airport functions really well. Taxis are not expensive at all. There are a lot of shops missing as Bershka, Pull n bear...so everything needs to be ordered online which at the end of the day is really annoying. Coffee is really expensive compared to what we are used to in Spain.

Great nightlife. Union square is amazing for shipping / cinema / eateries. ABERDEEN has everything you would ever want or need.

When looking at universities, Aberdeen was a city I didn’t want to go to, but since being here it’s been far better than I thought. My halls are right in the centre of town, just a short walk from hundreds of restaurants and shops. The nightlife is great, with loads of really cheap student nights!

Aberdeen is a great city for students, it's small but it has got everything a young person needs. You have different clubs, for every kind of music; a lot of shops and small shopping centre and cute little cafés. I personally enjoy my time in Aberdeen. Also, well connected to the rest of Scotland.

Lovely scenery and cute city at night, can be kind of expensive but once you find the right places like union square etc. You'll be fine

Everything you could need on your doorstep, world class facilities, amazing clubs and bars most with student discount, some incredible eats and cheap rent by comparison to the rest of the country

I usually shop online and spend my days at home, but friends tend to say that there are wonderful clubs and bars in Aberdeen. I personally was once in Garage club, when there was the concert of my fav group. The club was awesome. After the concert we get to the pub, can't remember it's name, but for £20 I got 3 dishes and 3 beers, which is damn good . From my point of view, Papa John's is the best pizza in the town We only ordered that online, but the food was super tasty and delivery was very quick. Value for money - yas, it worth every pence. Plus, student discounts allowed us to order it more frequently.

Good value for money. Good transport linked. Reasonable rent prices. 3 different shopping centres so plenty of choice for eating out and shopping.

Aberdeen is a fantastic city, its full of places to go things to do with a gorgeous seaside drive and a scenic old area full of cobble stone and beautiful rustic architecture surrounding the University.

Shopping is the best amenity in Aberdeen. For night out, I prefer Glasgow or Edinburgh. As I drive, I have not frequently used the public transport within Aberdeen, however, I am aware that buses run very regularly between the Universities and city centre.

So many things to do. There are museums, cadonas which is an amusement park and cinemas. Many places to go out. Cater to everyone's music choices from techno to house and to rock and even Afrobeats.

Great improvements in restaurant range and though more retail stores can develop in Aberdeen. Although I rarely go out to clubs, I always hear from friends that there are plenty good places to get drinks and dance during weekdays or weekends so I know Aberdeen isntn bad for going out at night.

Aberdeen is an amazing city! Everything is located well within walking distance of each other. The shops are great as are the cafe's and restaurants. There's so much to do events wise as well!!

Aberdeen is a pretty nice city. It is on the smaller side. The people are the friendliest I've ever met. There are quite a few things to do. Museums, talks and hiking outside of the city. I look forward to spending more time here.

Aberdeen is alright. When it comes to going out in general Aberdeen is a bit more on the pricey side compared to other Scottish cities. Aberdeen supports the main shops and restaurants you would an any regular city with hardly any high end stores like other bigger cities have. The main ways to get around the city is ether by bus or car, with taxi's being the more pricey option. As far as entertainment goes, Aberdeen has the traditional cinemas like most cities do but they also have a theatre which holds shows regularly and occasionally a west end show will arrive.

Aberdeen is a very grey city. Places of recommendation would be Codonas if looking for something to do like bowling, crazy golf, the cinema and restaurants.

The city has good transport links with the rest of the surrounding area and the range of places to eat is diverse so you're sure to find something you like for your price point. The range of shops is a little bit lacking and I think there could be some other ones that are needed but it's just up to those comapanies as to as and when they arrive in Aberdeen. Some places and items are a bit overpriced but this is due to the oil background that Aberdeen has. However, it's a great place to live and study!

Great city! Big shopping centre where you can find everything you need, lots of student-friendly places to eat and, of course, brilliant nights out!

When I started off, Aberdeen was quite a boring city to live in. All the shops were closing in the city centre, the only art gallery closed down, the music hall closed down, so it was quite boring. However, during the last few weeks before my graduation, I saw a massive improvement in the city. New shops were opening, workshop places, new cafes, and outdoor sitting areas. They are also building a new concert hall outside the city that should be great once it's finished. The nightlife is good, I always had a lot of fun. The clubs are all quite close to each other so each easy to hope from one place to the next. You also always bump into someone you know, which is great. Aberdeen is quite a small city which makes it easy to walk around and go meet up with your friends without having to plan loads in advance. The uni itself is really pretty and everyone is very nice and helpful.
