De Montfort University has an excellent campus. The Law lecturers are fantastic and really supportive and the law building (Hugh Aston) is really nice and has a comprehensive 2 floor law library just for law students and computer room as well as a mock courtroom as well. My experience of studying law at DMU has been excellent and I would definitely recommend it.

De Montfort University is very modern and full of life. Every other day there is something going on, whether it is a society fundraising, a political talk or a vigil on issues around the world that also affect everyone at the university.

My faculty facilities are pretty excellent other than i have to buy all my own materials. The parts of the campus i have experienced other than my building are actually pretty good.

Excellent campus right in the heart of the city with great access to the city centre. The overall course was well taught however some lecturers were using out of date seminars to teach content and were not great at explaining complex matters. Students Union was great but spent more time marketing new campains instead of marketing what the purpose of the Union was. Careers service were poor and unfortunately many students found placements and work placements without the assistance of the university which was disappointing.

Amazing campus, I went to a different university before transferring to this one and it has alot more facilities. The library is amazing, I've spent many a sleepless night in there working on essays - would recommend. Staff are also cool with you taking a power nap if it's the middle of the night. On site shops have literally anything you need. Photography courses have an unreal amount of loanable equipment. Not to mention all the halls are SUPER close.. Unlike some places.. Oh yeah! I almost forgot since I'm lazy as. Sports facilities are pretty versatile too.

Great buildings and a great library, food on campus is good and the uni is in a good place. Has lots of societies and I like the balcony.

Really lome this University. Great choice of programmes and great staff. University campuss look amazing, everything is brand new and location is really close to city centre.

The campus looks beautiful and modern. There are plenty of facilities for every student. The library works 24/7 which is great during assignment period. There are many career opportunities available as well as graduation schemes . The staff is very friendly, helpful and provides high level of teaching. There are many societies, so every student can find something they want to take part in

Little help from some lecturers I.e not replying to important emails regarding assignments and not explaining tasks

Poor teaching standards and outdated facilities barring some exceptions. I'd recommend it for architecture as the campus is brand new but for anything IT/Tech related, choose something else.

The university over all is great place. It's a very diverse community with people from all over the world. The campus is brilliant and large and everything is very easy to find. I study fashion design and the facilities for this course are very good, plus being able to go on other courses areas and using their machinery or equipment is very useful and great to gain knowledge.

My current University is one of the great place that I can be, where its showing their care for their students and especially to international students like me.

De montford university is a diverse place that I thought I wouldn’t be able to get away from home (London). Friendly local’s and most of the time you find your in the same problems and experiences that other students are in. That’s the beauty about university especially at de Montfort, you’re never alone.

Very new and modern campus. Good learning facilities and student union is very active trying to help students make the most of their uni experience

There are various improvements that need to be made but one major problem is that lecturers do not engage students and simply just read of PowerPoints! This needs to change

Campus is great, big yet everything is close together and 5mins from town. I study psychology and enjoy it, lecturers are brilliant and have taught me a lot over the past couple of years

It’s a very small campus which makes everything very connected and easy and quick to get from one building to the next. Having a 24 hour library is great for doing all night work as you have access to all the resources as well as food and drink. The VJ building is well equipped with everything I need for my course, such as a computer lab with CAD software and a large studio space for doing big pieces of work or making models. The workshops are also very useful, especially for model making as each one specialises in a different material/trade and have all the equipment you may need. There is also always someone there to help out if you don’t know how to use the equipment etc.

State of the art facilities and excellent teaching qualities are the first things that come to mind. DMU has an array of assets and it is by far one of the top 15 universities in the United Kingdom

Everything about the university is great, plus it was one of the only universities to do the course I wanted

The campus is stunning and the staff are very supportive. The facilities suit every course perfectly, from the different buildings for each faculty to the resources available.

Beautiful need campus completed with a lovely new art and design building, good facilities like the library and learning zone. campus close to the city centre and its got good night life and lots to do in your spare time.

Overall a you I experience is incredible but at dmu it goes a step further, with the multimillion pound renovations and the care that goes in to it, campus is a great place to go. The union offer lots of exciting events and the societies list is endless. The course are broad modern and very well staffed. Over all I would say de montfort uni is the best
