Snowsports

UWE Snowsports is the largest sports club at the university with over 300 members. There are 10 comittee and captain members thid yesr who run the club and organise everything from the fresher and social events to ski competitions and the notorious wintet ski trip. They have donena great job and are very frinedly and welcoming to new commers. The club has won several awards for comittee of the year and best club in the past. Theres always something going on such as socials at locals bars and clubs in bristol and weekly ski practice in gloucester. If youre new to skiing or boarding theres a begginers rep who takes students to learn to ski. Everyone in the club is very laod back and easy going and its a great club to be part of. I would recommend this club to anyone at the university and encourage everyone who can to try get themselves on a snowsports ski trip at least once in their time at uni. I can personally say the club has created some of my best memories in Bristol.
