In my first term of uni I tried and failed to get into the football team and alas my nights and days were lonely I didn’t leave my halls much I didn’t have many friends and university was pretty dull. Until I was given a second opportunity to trial in which I was successful, from that day onwards I trained twice a week played matches once a week and had socials once a week, this is when my life turned around I found myself with lots of friends always out and about, getting fitter and having so much fun! The football society has made me life long friends in which I am living with off campus this year which without the society I wouldn’t of met them. So the football society has changed my life for the better.
