Great facilities for language students! There is lots of space in the library so even when there are exams you are still able to find a seat!

Absolutely love the university, the staff are all extremely welcoming and keen for their students to excel. This is backed up by all the student support members from the SU. As a fresher hall are great and the SU puts on a great 2 weeks of freshers. The sporting opportunities through intramural or inter-uni are outstanding (especially the widelane sports facility). Southampton’s campus is kept in great condition, great food services and a great city wide uni bus service (especially as it’s free for freshers). Finally the city of Southampton is extremely welcoming for students. This is coupled by lovely open spaces, great shopping and a great night out wherever you go. Whether it’s spoons, Jesters or Sobar for a cheap night, Switch so see a great DJ, or Oceana to get a bit too friendly on the dance floor, the night life in southampton is 2nd to none!

The course (law) is incredibly detailed and interesting, with lots of resources for students. The campus is very big but has lots of spaces to eat and relax as well as detailed maps helping first years find their way around.

The teaching faculty for computer science is amazing with well reputated professors. The faculty it’s self is very good and professors are always willing to help you out with any of the difficulties you may be facing. If you need major attention with the course the lecturers usually ask one of their PhD students to help you out. The university it’s self is amazing with lots of studying spaces and areas to do recreational activities. The student union is really active making sure the students make the most out of their university experience. The student support is also amazing which help you cope with everything from exam stress to the change in the environment you are feeling

I love the uni, the campus is great with loads of facilities. The gym is good although just very busy. I love my course (medicine) it’s just hard and v content heavy. Student union is good, although it would be nice to organise more socials/nights in the union.

The course is just long. Wouldn't recommend Civil Engineering unless you truly know you are fit for the task and healthy enough to complete and ECG test beforehand. Stress levels will be tested to the limit and most future students will suffer a mental breakdown weekly. Also campus buildings are not ordered as would you expect, chronologically. Thus you will be late for all lectures and undoubtedly fail with crippling debt and a lost sense of emotion. However, I would genuinely recommened the uni for its top staff and teaching academia. Further, the university of Southampton really places you ahead most other students at other top unis in terms of career services. Second year Civil Engineer.

I really enjoy the cafes/food outlets on campus and feel the support is very good. The careers office was another excellent service and helped me with cv writing as well as looking for a career that may suit my skills

The university of Southampton is a great university with everything any student would want. The campus has numerous bars, food outlets and even a market on Mondays. I study maths and we have a great common room area where students can have their lunch or a drink and mingle with PhD students or lecturers
