Campus is really lovely and has multiple coffee shops and lots of facilities as well as a pub on campus. The lack of a club on campus would be an issue but there's about 5 or 6 large clubs in Southampton that many people go to so it's fine. Theres a huge array of societies as well that mean there's always something for everybody.

The campus and facilities are great. They are way to access and are very up to date. I love my course and lecturers and the student union organises so much and gives you all the help you need.

I am very happy with my programme. Computer science is one of the best degrees in this university in my opinion. The course is well organized although sometimes the lectures are no scheduled nicely, with a lot of gaps between them. The computer labs are state of the art and clearly millions have been invested. Overally, I am happy with the university.

My course is really good. A good mix of practical and theoretical work. It is also a good challenge, without being too hard to understand.

Had a fantastic time here, from starting freshers the Student union involved everyone and set the tone for the rest of the year. The union has its own student letting company, although not that big still offers a number of houses each year. Personally studying chemistry I found lots of support and lecturers were always happy to help outside of Normal contact time.

Large campus which has everything required in one place. Great bus links. Very organised and engaging student union. Can only focus on engineering and look to expand the sciences, whilst ignoring social sciences, humanities and laws.

It's quite good, lectures are normally interesting and approachable, timetabling is a little rubbish but that doesn't really matter

I love my university! The people are all friendly and fun to be around, people actually want to study theirs subjects. The lecturers are willing to answer your emails and talk at any point and always give a helping hand when possible. I have a good range of optional modules on my course to choose what I want to specialise in. There is a huge range of halls, varying in condition and age and price, so everyone could find something for them, and guaranteed student accommodation to first years and international students is hugely reassuring! There are 3 bars/clubs on campus, a letting agents, a box office, cinema and theatre, and a giant library that has lots of individual cubicles for you to do work in. There is also a range of sporting facilities including gyms, which are also in some accommodation complexes, and a swimming pool. I really love the uni and the vibe it gives off.

The campuses are lovely with plenty of green spaces and places to relax. Great having the National Oceanography Centre as somewhere else to go than the main campuses. Course (geography) is so fun, lecturers are very nice organisation is generally good and our year group is very close thanks to a fun trip to Tenerife !

Southampton is a very great university especially for engineering. I love how the university trains me to be independent. But I think all lectures should be recorded so that it would be easier for students to do revision.

Really fantastic uni and city - everyone is helpful and friendly! As a third year biomedical scientist I have little free time these days, but the social life in the first couple of years was 10/10. Can’t beat stags for a pint after your last exam.

Campus is lush. Lectures are okay. Library is amazing. Sport societies are costly but very fun. SUSU the students union is pretty good with a lot of helpful services although they could always do with more money. I became development captain of the Southampton university basketball club and found a passion for the game. I organised the largest spectator sporting event in Southampton's history incorporating band dance cheer and choir into the performance

The campus is really big and beautiful at the same time. Library is huge, i think it is the biggest library in South of England. Organisations are well prepared.

The area is really pretty (right by the coast and big parks) and the variety of clubs and societies this uni has to offer is incredible.
