Campus is nice, library recently revamped with loads more seating, union facilities like the pub and other bars are nice but general union nightlife is lacking.

I like university of Southampton, overall facilities and support etc are good....... only thing is people keep stealing my knives and forks in halls, so whoever that is can you please stop it

The campus is pretty and has open spaces to go to. The students union has made quite a few mistakes over last few years with rebranding and the vice chancellors pay issue but seems to be listening to students concerns over this.

University of Southampton has excellent facilities for engineers. Including a fully equipped CNC machining shop, Welding facilities, 3D printing lab equipped with 4 SLS printers and more. The professors are engaging and the material is applied and challenging.

The student union has great offerings, and the sports and wellbeing facilities are great - loads of teams and clubs to choose from, with excellent student leadership and a great gym.

The main campus may not be the best looking, however Avenue campus provides a modern place to work and study. Avenue library is comfortable and creates a peaceful working experience. Similarly, some areas in Hartley library provide a good working atmosphere, however, it can often become loud and busy without enough places to work. The Modern languages department is well organised and has so far provided a smooth, stress free university experience.

up to date and sufficient facilities. Enthusiastic lecturers and a lovely green campus. Accommodation is really nice and the city has a great night life

Southampton University is generally a wonderful place to study; nice campus, numerous libraries for many different subjects, and helpful lecturers and assistants. The sports facilities have recently been upgraded and are easy to use with membership for ActiveNation included.

Good campus but small at WSA and can be isolated. Graphic Arts course is insanely good and we get our own massive studio spaces which really helps our work.

Great library facility and overall campus. Student halls and houses are either too far from the city or campus. Bus pass is very pricey. Gym membership changed to be over expensive. Overall lectures are t value for money. Lectures don’t seem to care. Student union is awful. No good events. Freshers is poor and very very very overpriced. External companies are the only good nights. Great careers advice

The university facilities itself are not great, but the surrounding nightlife and societies compensate. Aswell as the Hartley library and few academic staff

Very good university, lots of things available such as clubs and societies and the support is pretty good

Course was good, a lot of support. Facilities could have been better, particularly sports centre - was too small and library.

Southampton is split across multiple campuses which can initially feel quite isolating for some students but does ensure state of the art teaching facilities. The library is huge and there are plenty of indoor and outdoor facilities.

Very good uni, staff are excellent, facilities are clean and tidy and very handy. Always people on hand for support if necessary

University is lovely, glad I chose this university. However, the Sports facilities could be improved and the gym membership is a little expensive, considering what we already pay for university.

Nice small pretty campus, with a very friendly feel :) could really be better organised though! Sport is great across the uni, though the gym can be a pain. All in all loved spending my last four years here!

Great campus which is easy to get around; the new boldrewood campus is also very high-tech. Adequate sports facilities although more gym space would be better.

Excellent campus and social life, course delivery is average with a massive emphasis on independent learning I feel masking lazy lecturers.

The university campus is beautiful and includes a lot for students to do including a bar, pub and even a cinema.

Good campus and facilities but could be more lively and involved with students. Union could do more and better events especially during Freshers week, but other than that the environment is a really enjoyable one and the location around both Highfield and Avenue campus is nice and green and is perfect for a long walk in Summer and even in the Winter. The sports teams are competitive with each other which always presents a fun challenge.

Good educational University facilities. Choice of university related gyms with good equipment. Large variety of sport and non sport clubs. Easy to get around, nightlife enjoyable and student oriented. Limited number of clubs. Good uni bar. Wide selection of halls, for various budgets and good second and third year accommodation options.

Great place to learn. Electronic engineering here is a great course, though difficult. The Student union has plenty going on.
