Continual work to improtthe campus is being carried out, marketing is a course being continuously improved too. The career services are useful for getting part time work and also placement year work.

I have studied there for 2 and a half years so far and it has been amazing. The campuses are wonderful with state of the art facilities and lecturers who are experienced researchers. I study biology and Marine Biology and I can say the whole natural sciences members of staff are hugely supportive in all aspects of my degree.

Solid academic facilities and learning. Sports facilities could be improved somewhat - especially grass pitches.

Nice campus with good facilities and is very accessible. Sports centre has a very good gym and swimming pool.

The campus is ideal for people coming from sixth form as it has all the essential facilities you need in an easily accessible area. The student union is great for socialising with friends, with karaoke on Thursdays which is great entertainment, as well as many sports games being broadcasted live which is also fanstastic for student interactions. I am currently undergoing a 3 year history course, with Southampton having some of the best research facilities out of the Russel Group universities.

A Russell Group university with world leading research and great educational opportunities for all students. The campus has lots of pleasant green areas and the public transport connections to the university are excellent.

Good uni, could do with more internship opportunities. Catering in halls should be improved - was much better last year. Good facilities overall

The campus is very nice, lots of green areas and have a 'village' type vibe so you feel like you're in a proper community. The facilities are also good, lots of food venues to choose from including other cafes close by like Pret and Costa. The gym is nice a big although can get a little crowded in the weights areas.

Amazing teaching staff, really good resources and support systems available throughout study, Library can be full capacity quite frequently and it's a pain not to be able to get a seat but the facilities there and resources available are good.

The university is very nice with a few nice buildings and green areas. The staff on my course are quite good and friendly. They are easy to reach and answer most questions very well. The overall course layout is pretty good as well, with a good mixture of workshops and tutorials to allow a more in depth grasp of the subject. The services offered on campus are nice as we have a selection of places to eat such as the piazza of the cafe and there is also the stags bar which offers drinks at reasonable prices.

The university has multiple campuses which are all well taken care of with good facilities and good bus travel between them. The students union puts on many events for different people, my favourite being quiz and a curry. It has services for housing and careers as well as general support.

Campus is lovely, lots of things to do in the city, facilities are extensive for my department and careers service is helpful. Student union could be better, not many events organised that appeal to students. Organisation can be poor such as with marking assignments.

University of southampton is one of the best universities in UK. It provides good infrastructure and other facilities for its student. Also the student union is working very efficiently incoperating every socities and its events. Although the student service team is quite slow in processing some kind of important matters.

Southampton is a great university with so many students. The campus is pretty and easy to work your way around. Halls are not too far with easy links and lots of near to campus housing for renting.

The facilities are good and support is available when you need it. The lectures are also recorded which is very helpful when it comes to studying or if you've missed one for whatever reason. The social life is also good with lots of places to go.

It is a great University overall. Research based, with loads of practical experience. The teachers are expert in their fields and encourage you to follow your calling.

Very good facilities. Love the course. Good city for nightlife All the lecturers at the university are interesting and approachable. You can arrange tutor meetings for a more personal chat if you have any issues. Lots of clubs and societies so there's always something for everyone

Is a very good university overall and have helped me greatly in my time here. Constantly developing and trying to improve the space they have.

The uni nightlife is good. Library is huge but campus is really far from the city centre so as a result not go there very often

Southampton definitely has a good balance between social and academic life. The majority of people who go there are reasonably down to earth and don’t take themselves too seriously, and by and large the workload from your course allows you to still have an experience outside of your degree. The study spaces on the campus are relatively good, and there’s quite a wide selection. The sports facilities are one of the main things that they could invest more in, as the gym is very small, and the pitches are quite far away. The nightlife is decent, but then again I’m not massive on going out so I’m probably not the best person to judge. The city itself is alright, there’s not that much to do, but I guess unless you live in London then the same can be said for most places, and on the other hand you can always find something to do if you try hard enough, or are willing to venture a little out of Southampton, plus they’re investing in the city so there’s new restaurants and shops opening up pretty regularly. Overall I had a great time.

Careers service and the growth and development opportunities they provide are excellent. The student life team are very helpful in libraries too, ensuring all students studying hard are well and replenished. It’s great if you’re a go-getter. Lots of opprtutnies, people, societies, help centres, and networking opportunities. Course is good too and the department is very responsive. SU is improving, lots of sustainability initiatives. But cutting staff and their pensions will not help in the future as well as the over marketisation of education and academia.
