The facilities available at Salford are brilliant. As a drama student, I have access to the New Adelphi building which is top of the range. All the staff are extremely helpful and considerate.
I don't like the fact we have to petition to get our money back from the weeks of lectures cancelled due to strike action.
My course OT is very practical and it good at preparing me for real life situations. My campus is modern and bright with good learning space but is not close to student union and I feel my campus misses out on some of the student union life and activities
Brilliant university, lots of good facilities. Very welcoming. I do theatre and performance and they provide so much for us for the present and future
The University is pretty average, the best part of my day is when this guy called chimii sells me ween and we light up.
Modern buildings with brand new media facilities. Whether you are interested in radio, filmmaking etc this university has plenty of state of the art facilities to help you learn and create.
Career services are excellent, weekly emails regarding available posts within the university suitable for students are great. The campus for health care subjects are fantastic and have state of the art facilities!!
Course has been great, teachers are thorough and attentive and help me to progress. The powerpoint presentations they assemble are extremely valuable when revising as well as accessing library books.
English literature and language course is very good, nice lecturers who are actually good at their job and not as scary as they first make out to be. Good location, very close to Manchester (20 min walk) but far enough out that you're not right in a big scary city. Free 50 bus from uni to the shopping centre (very small but good for food and essentials) to media city which is very pretty and nice. Overall good uni-things are always being done out and updated, wouldn't want to go anywhere else
In terms of the delivery of my course, at times I have found it to be lacking, i.e. Tutors unsure of what the days lectures should include, lateness and confusion. However this has only been on certain occasions and the rest of the time the content has been well taught
Fantastic buildings. Not many options for law students. The union is great. Some Lecturers are well involved in the education of students. Law is at a disadvantage considering the lack of topics.
Campus is beautiful, it’s clean and it has everything you would expect in a university. Facilities are great however I really dislike the fact that we must pay for the gym even though we are paying £9,250 a year so I think the gym should be free for Uni students. My course is good, some lectures are pointless but I guess that’s part and parcel. Student union make a lot of effort but more advertising is needed to promote events. Career services I can’t judge yet as I am only in first year and orgsnisation is pretty good
Good library include new apple computers. On my course we need special software which is available on all uni computers. Lectures are a good level of understanding for everyone. Lecturers have time to listen and try to learn names. I cannot fault the career support I have had. From CV writing to interviews been so helpful
The university is good. It contains great facilìties with amazing staff and tons of amazing students. Alot of activities that contain out of lesson involvement.
Amazing teaching and great support from lecturers. Good sports facilities and wide range of social clubs. Active student union.
Campus and living accommodation in the area is amazing. Facilities at the uni are great, there’s a good range but it’s fairly dull. My course are unorganised and don’t listen to anything students have to say. I do theatre
Facilities are amazing they've just renovated and made new buildings and the space of the lecture rooms are impressive. The labs are amazing the layout of these are spacious. The course I'm on is Biomedical Science and its a very interesting yet very compact course. The support from the lecturers is very useful.
