Good university, lots of open space and quiet study rooms. Facilities are good and courses are structured well.

The campus is very new and the facilities are very clean. I do broadcast journalism and the course I find is very interesting the essays are quite hard but the facilities we have access to are great. As an extra you can get involved in quays which is the same as a tv studio. The student union is good there is something different on each night. I would defiantly say join a society so you can make friends who are similar to you as it can be quite hard.

Great facilities at the university, especially the newer buildings including the library. The student union could do with more events or have more going on. Course lecturers are amazing and often get specialists coming into lecture on topics. Overall a good uni

Modern nursing facilities and good teaching. Plenty of space to study around campus, apart from main library is quite far away from nursing campus which means I use it less regularly than I probably would if it was onsite. The course for nursing could be more organised as student often kept in the dark about what elements of their course or timetable are coming up.

I'm studying Quantity Surveying which is mainly in the peel park campus. The peel park campus is great, the library which has recently been refurbished is nice and spacious and modern.

I'm a student in the media and arts department, which means my course is based on the media city campus. It's a state of the art campus, being linked to the BBC and ITV makes it perfect for someone aspiring to make it into the industry. The facilities within the university are top notch. They have industry standard camera, sound, and editing equipment, as well as industry level editing suites suitable for all forms of media.

A very good university. Good facilities e.g. a news studio that will help set us up for a future career. The course is taught extremely well and the resources we have for independent study are clear and varied. The lecture theatres are big enough to have your own space but also small enough so you can really get involved in a class debate. The student union is very cheap and serves nice food. It hosts a lot of events which gives us the chance to meet other people.

I have studied my undergraduate degree here at Salford University and I have just embarked on studying my Masters. The library is a great place, with many facilities available, and lots of help at hand. There are lots of helpful guides and support services to help with studies. It is also open 24 hrs, which is definitely good when deadlines are coming up. There is lots of space for group and individual study. The student union is well priced, with various drinks and food offers on during the week. There are also events on occasionally which are really good when you need a break. I have enjoyed my time at Salford and found whilst studying my masters my personal tutor has been a fantastic support from day one.

I am studying broadcast journalism here and I am in my second year. I love the course. It's very hands on and consists of essay work and practical which gets you ready for the industry. Most of my lectures are at media city which is a beautiful place right in the middle of all media groups such as ITV and BBC. I have been part of Shock Radio in my first year and attempted to carry on in my second year however with my course being very hands on I've had to postpone it. But my experience in shock radio has been amazing- loads of socials and everyone's happy to help with your show and ideas. Overall I think I've picked the right uni for me and my goals.

Good Uni has a lot of facilities and easy to understand where to go. I study computer science and I couldn't be happier everything I need is there and teachers are very helpful and polite. I would only change the timetable in order to be less spaced out so students don't have hours of breaks in between the lessons

The campus is welcoming and the fact that it is all based on indication makes it so much easier to travel from one building to another. The student halls and student accomodatiom is on the campus as well which makes it easier for those students who may be new to the city to be connected to the univers ity. The course I am studying is business management. The reason I chose to do this curse at Salford University was because i know people who studied there and the reccomendations for the business school were very high. The student union is a great place to get to know your peers and make most of the univers ity experience.

Since I have started at the university, the campus has grown and developed dramatically! There are new facilities. They have updated the library. Peel park has even had a makeover! Making it lot less of a scary place of night, and becoming a beautiful park.

The peel park campus is really nice and you can tell a lot of effort and money has gone into it. The student union is a really great place to go for food and drinks and is really nicely decorated inside. They also do really great student nights with something suitable for everyone. The uni also has a very helpful ‘askus’ service which is amazing for helping students with anything from money issues to mental health. It’s a really sociable uni with lots of societies to get involved with.
