Excellent teaching, facilities and student support. Mental health support and postgraduate opportunities are also very good.

The course is really good, I do criminology with psychology, and I really enjoy it! The campus is onsite which is a perfect location, it’s in town and the halls surround town, this makes it really easy to get to uni

The campus is rather spread apart howler newer facilities are up to date and the library is Fantastic. The ability to switch between specialised courses in the business department and option to do Erasmus is amazing.

The university has all the campuses near by, which provides easy access. The library has a variety of books, and consists of 3 floors with a lot of space to do group work and studying by yourself. There is a lot of support especially with coursework, as the student science support team help with referencing, structuring essays and providing feedback.

It’s a good uni but more needs to be done to Help student who are self sufficient and don’t have any other support

All the facilities are close together and easy to navigate around. Everything is up to date and the teaching is accurate, informative, engaging and fun.

I enjoy my time in portsmouth university, I have some great friends. University seems to be organised, if I have a complaint I can email them and I do get responded to which shows they care. Teaching method is a bit old school, it could be improved to be honest.

Portsmouth University could not have provided me with a better experience of university life. The staff and students are all friendly, the course is brilliant, the social life is great and the campus provides a safe and friendly environment to live in!

I am currently studying photography at Portsmouth university. The lecturers are very helpful and give good feedback. Photography department has amazing facilities and equipment for students to use. However the printer is very expensive and I think students should get a high quality of printer credit

Town campus with buildings all situated near each other. Great teaching with tutors helping students with any concerns they hold.

Studied two courses here, the facilities are always top notch, the staff can be hit or miss, but the classrooms are always clean and functional, the cafes and restaurants on site are excellent

The student union run loads of good events, societies/clubs, there is loads to get involved in and a good chance to meet people. However the actual union space (bar/club) could be improved. The careers service ‘purple door’ is so helpful, I’ve been able to taken in my CV and have mock interviews which helped me do a placement year. The facilities are average, there are lots of places to work but it can get so busy, not as many social areas as there could be also.

The services and course units that the uni provide to help you find a career when you graduate are great. I feel more confident with my CV and with interview processes because of their preparation. The facilities are modern, particularly the business school. My course has been great for the most part although I feel the units do not relate to eachother very well. The union is good and it’s clear they really care about making change, but they could do better nights out and social activities!

The campus is really well set out and innovative. The course is really interesting however I believe we should be timetabled more to attend uni in third year. Overall my experience here has been really enjoyable.

The Uni is overall very nice, as it is a city campus everything is within walking distance and unlike a traditional university campus it can be nice to go around the city when moving to different lectures or going to do work.

Our buildings may be all over the place but the facilities are great! The rooms are kept in a pristine condition and the lecturers are really passionate about their subject and the degree which inspires the students.

Good university with a great range of sports clubs and societies, great community to be amongst. Many lecturers don't seem to interested in what they teach though.

I love my University mainly because where I'm from the Universities there are not good. The availability of seminar tutors, personal tutors at first shocked me as they are not present in my country. Also, the lecturers provide all the materials and I guess this is why UK has the best education and I guess it's why i chose to come here.

The campus has very good facilities and all the staff I have met in my course so far have been excellent. And also that their are services which are very helpful for finding jobs and also to have new social clubs to form etc. The other is that would be it is really close to like everything you need, like the nightlife and also the shopping for example. However there is some that could improve is like the university bus having irregular times as it is either most of the time late or early.
