Scuba

Scuba society is linked to the Aquanauts dive centre. By paying a the yearly fee for scuba society, you are able to attend scuba dives at reduced rates (£15) including all your equipment hire- wetsuit, bottles, bcds, fins, etc. The scuba society also offers a free monthly shore dive through Aquanauts Dive Centre, which is brilliant. However if weather causes the dive to be cancelled, this is not always rearranged so is instead just missed. The scuba society organised a variety of socials and contact can easily be made with the social sec to give your own ideas. An example includes a buddy line night- where you spend the night out drinking attatched to someone else! The scuba society has also just recently organised its first scuba trip abroad, which obviously has financial costs but is a great opportunity.
