The college system means that everyone's experience of the campus/facilities/course can vary, but in general it is really excellent. I study English, and the course is really varied - you study everything from the early medieval period to the present day.

The workload isn’t easy, but the tutorial system really makes it worthwhile. My college had amazing accommodation and the city is a beautiful environment in which to study.

I studied biological sciences at St Hugh’s college and it was a great experiences both at Hugh’s at at the biology department. There is a lot of support being an international student for starting up here. There are also many out of academic opportunities which I encourage people to get involved in. As well as extra within academic areas to push yourself. The college system is great to meet people and provide more personalized support for anything. Really enjoyed it and reccomend.

I have had a greasy experience my last year here at Oxford. The courses are well structured and the professors are very knowledgeable. I have been able to utilize the career services and have gotten help writing my resume to apply for future employment, I am an international student and I have gotten plenty of support.

Not at all what the stereotype tells you, Oxford is a fantastic place to deepen your knowledge and refine your critical thinking skills. Slightly stuffy in parts but the traditions make it the place it is

The support we get from tutors is great, always got so much work to do and feel very busy during term time. If we have any questions, tutors are very open and easy to email.

My course is amazing as I really picked something I love to do (Psychology) and the course is delivered to me excellently. I have had an amazing careers service given to me which has really helped me in what I would like to do with my degree, and the organisation of my experience has been incredible.

I got to Hertford College which is nice and friendly. It is easy to get in contact with faculty if you need and help.

It’s exciting to be able to work with such expert staff. They really do care about their students’ learning.

The university itself is absolutely gorgeous. The buildings are beautiful and Oxford as a city is a lovely place to study. The university is making a concerted effort to appeal to more state school students (as one myself I have never experienced any form of discrimination from the university or any other students, and in fact went to a free summer school for state school students prior to my application). The LGBTQ scene is fantastic also. The only negatives are the sports facilities are located a little out of the main city which makes them not incredibly accessible to many. However, the rowing facilities are fantastic.

Oxford is such a beautiful city. The people here are very friendly and not like the stereotypes at all (or at least very rarely). The tutors are knowledgable and passionate about their subject and I love studying here
