decent uni though the definition of middle class. the most sickening thing is the number of posh people saying "I was really concerned everyo0ne would be posh but everyone's so nice and down to earth". If this is your opinion ;you're part of the problem. That said people are generally friendly so... yolo lol

The university does not live up to its own name. It does not care for undergraduates and uses its reputation as a foil for delivering sub-par services and facilities. Having said that it is a place with so many opportunities if you have the support and inclination to pursue them. It is here I met friends I could have never dreamed of, learned countless things about my own conceptions and understood the value of pursuing things for one's own sake and for the sake of the thing itself. Oxford is a place for learning not teaching.

Physics department is good for theoretical physics, not really many practical/applied options or engineering/sandwich year/management etc options... some teaching is good, lectures are much less good than one would expect.
