I love the university itself, the teaching is good too. My only criticism is the lack of timetable in a timely manner.

Really good and newly developed campus. Library is amazing. Great facilities. I'm a medical student so am not too involved in union or careers services but the facilities are great.

Hull is a great university, as the city of culture. It allows me to follow my passions with Sociology and gender studies. The lecturers are all very approachable and friendly and one even helped me with my UCAS application after I went to an open day!

Brilliant university, great facilities, maybe not enough lectures. Good halls of residence, and brilliant broad range of modules for subjects providing a lot of choices

I have loved my entire experience at the university. The building are stunning while still being modern and up to date on the inside. Easy to navigate and plenty of opportunities. During my time here I have been offered career advice while undertaking an employability award. As well as many opportunities to volunteer and take volunteering to various levels depending on commitment. Hull university offers a wide range of courses, extra curricular and overall help. I have thouroughly enjoyed my 3 years for my undergraduate degree so much and cannot wait to begin my Masters degree here.

Careers service wasn't as good as it could have been, I didn't find it very helpful. Campus was great, union was great, library was fab. The facilities on my course we're pretty good but I felt the lectures were more focused on their own research rather then teaching us, which they referred to as 'spoon feeding'

I’m currently a PhD student at the University. I have found it to be a great university during my time so far there. I have found the staff support excellent and the teaching support to be great. I would reccomend it to others considering PhD study.

I am an exchange student from the U.S and the university of hull has been a great experience for me. I feel that the business program there is different than at home and provides students with a more practical learning style. I can take what I have learned at the university and apply it to the work force and back at home when I finish up my degree. The professors are usually eager to help. The only downfall is all of the group work and teachers not worrying about students who do not participate in the group. The university itself is beautiful and the library is amazing. I love going to the 7th floor and studying with a view.

Love the uni and night life, library is sick and my course is awesome. Asylum needs some work. The careers service is fantastic and really does a lot for students who need help with their CV or advice when applying for jobs.

During my time at Hull university I have managed to fall in the with the city, my course and the people I got to now all in a matter of months. Before attending the university as a full time student I had no idea what to expect, however on arrival I soon became sure I had made the right decision. The campus offers many great things to students e.g. a 24 hour library, an on campus shop and a variety of eating establishments at reasonable prices. The university also offer day trips and 'give it ago' events at a subsided price, this has been most useful for trips to other cities and fun student activities. Hull offers great transport links and so it is very easy to get into the city centre, however this is not always necessary as there are some fantastic facilities on the university's doorstep.

Beautiful campus. Loads of investment, meaning new accommodation and lecture buildings with a new sports Center being built. The library is one of a kind, also relatively new and has views all over Yorkshire from the top floor. Great SU with many food outlets and a SPAR. State of the art club, although their acts are somewhat poor.

The campus is an architectural delight; the combination of early twentieth century buildings as you enter the front entrance looks timeless, and the contemporary additions that had grown the size of the campus look astonishing. The library not only looks fantastic, with a combination of new and old; having had a renovation offering 7 floors for students to study, and a top floor offering a view of the entire city. The lecture theatres are modern, and have mostly been rennovated to offer a high standard of teaching and learning capabilities. Furthermore, the sports facilities are undergoing a substantial renovation to offer only the highest quality facilities to new students.

Hull university has been a good university option for me with living at home.It allows for easy travel. The library is also a feature of the university that is very impressive and having 24 hour access and support makes it very useful. There is a range of clubs to be involved in and the on site nightclub is also a bonus.Teachers are all helpful and support your learning throughout the course.

I am an exchange student from the USA. The university is beautiful. It has lots of charm but it is also very modern. There are nice cafes and a cafeteria on campus. The Student Union is a nice place to hang out and has excellent food. I live in Ferens at The Lawns. It is not the best but it is a place to stay. The food in the cafeteria at the Lawns lacks seasoning, but you get a lot of food for your money.

The campus is really lovely, green, spacious, clean (littered with bins ahaha), also there are quite often food stalls out, eg. Giving out free pizzas, curries!! The people who work within the Student Hub are always very helpful and really welcome any students who need some advice, they'll see to everyone's needs the best they can. My coursemates are amazing love them, also already had a fieldtrip.

Overall, my experience at this university has been smooth sailing! Apart from a few structural issues, the course itself has been engaging and a challenge to say the least. The organisation of the department has been okay but could do with improvements in certain aspects. The student union has been great, always providing students with new opportunities to get involved and there is always somewhere to go for any kind of support!

Lovely campus, easy to find your way round. Fabulous facilities, 24/7 library. So much help available. Great student union, night club on campus as well as many cafes and a shop.

The campus is perfect and easy to navigate with a good balance of new & modern and traditions buildings. Plenty of support available and staff are easy to contact and reply quickly to emails. The exam timetables should be organised and released A LOT sooner than they are, they’re very last minute and that’s frustrating

Campus is welly designed and thriving with activity at all times. Library is an amazing size with lots of seating, the union always has great activities for both day and night also.
