Cheerleading

The cheerleading society was a great chance for me to get to know other people and try something I never did before. This year, they introduced a level one competition team as well as level two, allowing freshers to experience a cheer and dance competition. Training was strict, with a 3 strike rule being imposed if you didn’t show up for training, you would be off the comp team. It kept everyone motivated. However, the lack of cheer outs for the past two years put a downer on the whole situation, leading us instead to borrow kit from three years ago; much of which did not fit some of the girls. Despite all this, the committee has worked really hard to get us all ready for our competitions and topped off a great year with tour.
