BakeSoc Society (Brighton)

No experience at Uni would have been complete without joining Bakesoc! We had regular meets and held lots of fun themed events including Halloween cupcake decorating and games, a cupcake trail around Brighton, lots of collaborative movie nights with other societies and had lots of laughs with cut out Paul Hollywood, Mary Berry and Sue and Mel. It was also a really rewarding society to be a part of because we held regular bake sales to raise money for a variety of charities including Rockinghorse and Guide dogs for the blind where our very own lovely golden retriever came along with us to give us company on the charity bake stand. The committee including Chelsea, Sarah and Jacob are really lovely, dedicated people and just generally anyone who joined was so nice and it was great to share a common interest in baking together.
