Careers and placements service sets Bath ahead of plenty of other universities - so much support is given from CV writing to helping contact potential employers.

Great lecturers who care about their students and what they teach, and a great city to live in. The course content is carefully curated and there's a good balance of theory and hands on (for context, I do MechEng). The university also has a lot of links with industry which helps when looking for jobs and placements. There are many student run societies such as women in engineering, LGBT+, various international societies and religious unions, as well as pretty much any sport you can think of - mountaineering, salsa dance, kick boxing, etc. The campus is not exactly the most beautiful part of the city, but the library is open 24/7 and there are plenty of places to work, eat, and chill.

The campus is not so big and you have everything you usually look for. It has green areas with a nice lake and various buildings separated by departments. The library is modern and it has different levels (according, for example, to the level of concentration you need -level 5 quiet area-. Tutors are really competent and they usually help you with everything you need. There is also a big offer of societities and ways of spending your spare time. There are varied cafes and canteens. The SU sometimes organises great trips and activities. I really recommend it!

Bath for the most part isn't the nicest uni to look at, but constant development (interior and exterior) means that it is slowly but surely being modernised! Campus is perfect for school leavers: not too big, not too small! Most buildings are a 5 mins walk away. Chemistry buildings are some of the more modern buildings, placed over to one end of campus near the doctors office. Thursday morning labs initially seem a bit of a trek but soon you realise it's not so bad! The teaching is amazing for the most part, and assessment is tough but not overwhelming.

The campus is pleasant and has a good balance of buildings and greenery. The course is engaging and offers a broad choice of modules and excellent teaching. The careers service in my experience is easy to use but perhaps requires more specificity to particular courses and the options available to people on specific courses. All campus based events including freshers week and summer ball are well organised and have in the past been good value for money.

Great campus, really picturesque with the lake as the focal point. Investment into study spaces has meant there is an increase in spots to study on campus. Fab sports facilities, and with campus being compact everything is really close by.

Amazing Sports Training Village with world class sports facilities. Good and inclusive student union. Experienced career services staff who provide good support to students looking for placements and internships throughout their time at university.

Seriously cannot praise it enough - I love it here. The campus is so pretty and has everything you need (shops, cafes, etc) and the campus just has such a nice feel in general. Everyone’s so friendly. I’m in The Quads accommodation which is so nice, great facilities and a shared lounge between each two flats. The psychology department is amazing, all the lecturers are so passionate and engaging, and the facilities are great. Bath itself is lovely, not as much nightlife as a bigger city but I find it enough and there’s so many shops/restaurants etc in town. Easy bus ride to get to/from the town as well.

Campus - 9/10 what i like most about Bath is that all lecture buildings are in one area. The campus itself is beautiful in my opinion as we have the lake and it has gardens and mostly the trees surrounding the university is calming to look at. The size is alright but a bigger university would be better as students are increasing Facilities - 9/10 so far for my course, the university facilities are very helpful for my learning and growth. However, maybe renovating some building/rooms would be great. Course - 7/10 im rating it 7 not because i dont enjoy it but because Im not sure whether this is really what i want. However, the subjects and classes are both entertaining (not all) and challenging. Careers Services - 7.5/10

Most courses offer the opportunity to go on a half or year long work placement, which is invaluable at making you stand out when it comes to finding graduate jobs. It's a brilliant campus university, which means it's got a real community feel, plus it's located in Bath - literally the most beautiful city in the country!

It’s an incredible university, the facilities are amazing. There’s a great sports centre which is always being upgraded. There’s also a wide choice of courses, where you’re able to choose units from all different areas of study across the university. The campus is very well organised, with all the facilities you need available in a small area.
