The University of Bath

While it's not the most happening city, I love how chill it is. Sports facilities are pretty good and complete, there is also a huge range of societies to choose from. Campus is very clean, with easy access to groceries.

Bath is a small uni so it's relatively easy to get to know most people in your course. Some of my optional modules have been lacking in content and teaching quality. Library seems to always be crowded most definitely during exams and although there are other study spaces available they're usually busy too.

The campus is great. Most things are on site and easily accessible, including two banks and good study rooms. There are a lot of places to get food as well!

Campus and facilities are great although accommodation prices in halls and in the city are very expensive. Governance of the university is awful as there is a massive inequalities between pay and lack of accountability to students.

Generally speaking and excellent university - nice feel to campus, great facilities and high-quality lecturers. Library excessively busy at times and some areas of campus a little dated. If you're keen on your sports Bath is great on a casual or competitive basis.

The university of Bath is fantastic. The city is amazing for everything you could need; restaurants, culture, shopping, nightlife etc. and having Bristol so close by really makes a big difference for those used to bigger cities. The campus itself is very insular but a bit secluded being a 20 minute bus from the city and other living locations. My course (Economics) is interesting but could do with more support from staff and the rest of department and feedback is slow. Overall I highly recommend both the course and University of Bath

The sport facilities at my uni were amazing. Such a great opportunity for every student to progress as an athlete. The halls and the student union were very friendly and had great space to chill and make new friends . On a whole I had a great experience and made some friends for life

the courses are intriguing with great professors and easily approachable student assistance programs. the university is quite small but accommodated everything it needs.

The university has really good facilities - 24 hour library and good gym and sports pitches. The business course is good and you can tailor it towards our interests - in first year you complete compulsory modules but 2nd-4th year you can choose your own so you can make the course more finance orientated or choose more marketing modules etc. The only thing that was bad is the feedback on exams and coursework - you only get a mark and generic comments and this does not help you improve. Some lecturers are more engaging than always.

I have been attending this university for 8 months now and it's fully living up to my expectations. The campus is very functional yet also very pretty. There is a central lake with lots of wildlife that is perfect for retreating to when I feel like escaping my work. I study chemistry and have really enjoyed the big focus on labs. In first year I am having 12 hours of labs per week and during this time we get to use a good range of instruments. The timetabling is well done and one party of my course I really like is tutorial where a professor teaches us in groups of 5.

Compact campus, minimal walking between lectures, some buildings on east side of campus outdated however nice new buildings on the west side. Mechanical engineering course very good, good provisions for labs and also supportive tutors

I would’ve rated my university five stars if not for the issues with the vice chancellor. It is a fantastic university, and the rest of the staff are great along with an amazing wellbeing team and security team.

The university is built on a beautiful site with beautiful campus buildings. The course is well structured although it is a bit hard. The students are very bright and hardworking which motivates me to study hard. The library is very small although it is not very pretty. The buses to campus are sometimes late which is frustrating.

The campus is nice, and there is much support for students. The library. The university is also very supportive of students with regards to careers, and offer a host of various activities and events.

There's lots of great facilities to take advantage of at the Uni of Bath, including a great sports training village, library and several other study spaces. However, at peak times particularly during revision periods, these spaces can easily become overwhelmed, particularly The Virgil building in Bath city centre, so be sure to get there early. There are several places to eat on campus, 4W café and Lime Tree are my favourites, but there is also the Parade Bar and Café and also a new vegetarian place. You can also take advantage of the on store shops, Fresh, there is a larger fresh by Santander bank and a smaller on inside the SU, depending on what you need. In the Summer months there is a beautiful lake on campus to take advantage of.

Great uni! Glad I came here to study. I enjoy the teaching and everything about the uni. I has a really good atmosphere and I've had loads of fun being here

Bath's architecture course is well structured and well rounded, and the small, weekly tutorial groups are greatly appreciated. Feedback for design studio is excellent, but lacking in some other modules (e.g. detailed design). Biggest complaint about the course structure is the split placement program, as it is a real logistical nightmare trying to get short term accommodation in such a small town.

High quality facilities, slightly overpriced in some areas but £1 canteen is very popular. Campus is compact and well layed out with plenty of room to relax but insufficient room for studying during busy periods. Student union is awesome, club nights are the best on Campus, vice chancellor gets paid too much

Good, mostly understandable lectures. I do sometimes feel some lessons depend too much on the PowerPoint and don't provide extra information. They don't prepare you for examination early on, which I believe should be talked about from the beginning as layout and explanation of what needs to be done in the exam isn't clear enough, especially regarding essay style questions. It would be nice to know what kind of essays scored the highest marks and what should be included in them.

It is an intersting place that combines people of various walks of life in a beautiful spa town. The university is very helpful in helping students get good jobs and progress further on their life paths.

The psychology course is particularly good at Bath, especially with the year out on placement. There is the opportunity to work abroad for a year, or in excellent research and clinically based services.

Although its a bit troublesome to get to the city centre from the campus as we have to take a bus. But the city centre of Bath is really pretty. Great variety of food available in the campus. Gym facilities are good but membership is too pricey.
