Queen Mary University of London

The campus was very close knit and felt quite communal. Getting from A to B was rather pleasant. The facilities could do with some improvement. Such as more library/pc space, better toilet facilities and larger supply of textbooks in the library.

Amazing campus and facilities.... lecturers are good at explaining but sometimes lecturers do not use interesting examples or questions. Student burasray or funding is not enough to support student travel fare or other academics. Library printing should be free which is not.

The university has a good ability to listen to students and make improvements to what students give feedback to. The social life at the university is also great with events happening every week, and staff being very kind and helpful whether in offices or at events. The university also offers great career fairs for students.

Great Russel Group University, high class staff student support, 24/7 library. Although because of the strike not much has been happening for the last 3 weeks.

All three campuses are extremely beautiful and welcoming. The facilities are up to date and the staff is always willing to help you as much as they can.

The library may not be the most visually appealing or the largest, however, the amount of study material present is extremely impressive. Lecture theatres are of an excellent standard, especially with them recently building a new graduate centre that provides both fantastic learning space and lecture halls

The University is great for home students and international students with a variety of societies and extra curricular. So much to be a part of. Since it's in London, night life is always very live, with at least a club open every night. Education is great, with very friendly and welcoming tutors and lecturers, you feel like learning and enjoy every part of being at Queen Mary.

The campus is a friendly multicultural place to be. Always stuff happening and it’s a nice location by regents canal.

The dental school is incredibly new and up to date with fantastic facilities. The staf who ate employed to work there such as lab technicians are very helpful in making like as a dental student easy. The very wide tangle of variety of sports clubs means that whilst at uni you can try something new, that’s what I did and found a new hobby which I now do 4 times a week. The sports night socials at the union every week are also a great night. Although on that note, the other social events could be better as they aren’t as well advertised.

Campus is large and good. The buildings are in excellent condition and everything works fine. The student union is always working and trying their best. However, not everything is sunshine. Health care provided sucks and so does the school organization when it comes to Erasmus student.

The campus is nice with grand original buildings mixed in with new modern buildings. Has good are of greenery which is nice in london! Most if the lecturers are friendly and helpful towards students. Tutorials are sometimes a little tedious/dull though. Close to a main road, so can be noisy

It's the only campus uni in London, not that cute but very practical. The teaching is pretty decent, they record all the lectures for QReview so you can watch them back later. The library can be a bit of an overcrowded nightmare but it's open 24/7 so you can definitely avoid the rush if you wanted to. Otherwise it pretty much has any facility/service you need.

Queen Mary is like a home. It’s a campus that has everything so everything is within one site unless you’re in the barts campus for medical students etc. It has that sense of home after a while. The psychology course is more scientific than any other university so if you’re wanting to do a science based psychology degree that isn’t solely nonesense and based just on what-if theory then this is a very good option.

The campus is big and clean. Has a lot of facilities and social areas. My course department is unorganized and doesn't help with issues well. We have a great careers service with many opportunities.

The campus is one of the best campuses in London. The university has multi faith centre that welcomes all faiths.

Campus is a little cramped but as to be expected for a London uni. However, there are too many construction projects going on. I pass the uni even during the holidays and no construction work is happening. Maybe work during holidays so there's no restriction and finish all the work early? My course has been completely disturbed as the lab where most of my modules are held is closed due to the construction works and there's no other labs so looks like we're all failing this year.

I really like it, I like the buildings and the city and it's pretty! My biggest sadness comes from the fact that I'll never be able to relive my first day at this wonderful place, my dreams came true when I came to you. I love you QMUoL, I love you all!

We have a pretty awesome student union, they organise some great activities and nights out, as well as serious stuff, like careers fairs, that are actually really helpful and the careers department is brilliant.

The course I'm doing is really good! It's much better than what I expected and I'm enjoying it so far. Although there is a lot of work that overwhelms me quite a bit, there is a lot of support so I never feel helpless. They have workshops on how to write essays and appointments you can arrange to look over your assignments so overall it's really helped me to make that smooth transition into university!

Since attending Queen Mary, University of London, I have found that I eagerly await my lectures and seminars as they are so very interesting. This could be because I have a lot of freedom of choice in the modules I take which means that the content of the lectures is always interesting and useful to me, however it could also be the strength of the lecturers that teach here. My only problem would be the timetabling issue, for I study German and Catalan and have 2 compulsory modules every year which clash and so have to drop out of Catalan Culture every single year.

Fellow students are very friendly and welcoming when you first enter university. The library has spaces for group work and a silent are for individual work. This really helps me focus when I need to get work done quickly. I also found that careers and enterprise was very helpful into giving me insight on how to achieve my goals.

The campus has undergone some major renovations during my course, improving the quality of life and study. The course itself was well ballanced, with relevant and usefull coursework. Especially excelent was the final year project, which was well supported by staff and facilities

Mile End as a location isn't as fancy as other London universities. However, this also works as an advantage as the Mile End campus feels like one big home, as opposed to several campuses spread throughout the city. It's nice to be able to associate a whole place with uni, as it makes travelling around London seem like you're far away from uni even when you're not. Many of the buildings are new (they just finished building the graduate centre), and it's pretty easy to get around. Several food options on campus (uni cafe, shops) and of course Mile End is not short of chicken shops (Dixie's, KFC and Nando's). In the 3 years of studying at Queen Mary, even though the buildings aren't that fancy, it's easy enough to get around and it's nice to be able to see everyone you know in one place (probably the library). The main library is also 24/7 which is perfect for night owls like myself. And there are several secret study places too, which is great if you want a change of scenery while studying.

My university experience wasn't the best overall, but in terms of support Queen Mary and the welfare team were very helpful.
