Good university with many facilities. The course was interesting and there was always help available if and when needed. Careers services was also good and advertised well to all students. Overall a good experience.

Overall great university. The main campus (Mile End) is set back from a busy main road and is like its own little village. The student accommodation is nice for central London (although there are shortages with some people not getting a room in first year). The majority of lecture theatres are nice and modern. Most of the lecturers and other staff are extremely helpful and passionate about their subject. There is one bar on campus which is good for a night out, there are also several restaurants, cafes and shops on campus. QM is very good in terms of sporting and academic societies.

The university does have a very diverse cohort with students from many different walks of life. For the sciences, the lecturers are very proficient in their area and are helpful if you approach them individually. There are many societies that you can join. QMUL are very concerned with career progression after university so they always have career events aiding students in that area. Â All in all the university, as far as I have experienced, excels in the sciences and ensures their students benefit from their time there

This university is extremely positive and I am glad to say is now a Red Brick University. Although not located in the heart of he city like kings or UCL, it is situated in East London and only a stone's throw from the city. This means you get the best of both worlds, cheaper rent, Shoreditch and easy commute! The student union is extremely vibrant and active and the uniceruniv provide a lot of support for struggling students as well as giving lots of opportunicopportunicopp for enterprise and careers advice.

The campus is very welcoming full of diversity and international students. There is easy access to all the facilities in campus and lecturers as well as tutors in the law degree try to make all modules as interesting as possoble. Moreover, the student union is very helpful and provides a wide range of services. Finally, although I have not had many opportunities to interact with career services I know that they host many events in order to help students achieve their dream jobs.

Really good, friendly atmosphere on campus. The university holds one of the most spacious and green campuses in and around Central London. My course was Biology, during it I encountered the expertise of many competent professors and individuals who taught many new perspectives. The university offers many societies with many regular events to keep the students occupied when need be.

The campus is arranged in a way that's easy to make your way around places. Lectures are good and the careers services are very good at guiding you. In general it's an alright uni. Assignments are quite vague and different lecturers are good at guiding you, it just depends which one. Marking is very subjective which I don't really like.

Queen Mary University has one of the best campus in London with a great overall university experience. The university offers lots of course and students have great choice to choose their preferred course from it. The career service here is also amazing, you are daily informed about the opportunities through email. The student however needs a little improvement with more facilities for students in the future.

Overall a nice campus feel, all buildings are accessible within a 10 minute walk. There should be more computers in the library as it's quite small and quickly get filled up.

Compared to other universities in London, QM has this homely feel. A sense of family. The campus is all together by that I mean instead of buildings dotted around it's all located in the same location which is convinient and adds to the feel.

I love the support you receive here at Queen Mary. I love the diversity on campus and the respect you receive all across the university. The university has zero tolerance policy which makes it ideal for a hijabi like me who fears to be judged or misbehaved. Overall the university cares about their students and you can feel it. The student union ensures that the voice of students is heard.

The Queen Mary campus is quite nice, it's clean and have a canal side which is a nice view when walking around. There may palaces and rooms except the library where students can work but also socialise. I'm currently on a Science and Engineering course which is not too challenging as it's only a foundation year. I look forward to next year when I start biomedical science which I've heard is very good.

The campus has a really great vibe, it includes students from all years and there's always something new going on at library square. My course is amazing. Biology students tend to get on better overall with each other due to the trips and I recommend those, don't ever stop them! I've made such good friends because of the Millport trip. Can be annoying however when some protocols aren't followed by all mofulm organisers, e.g. coversheets for assignments. Otherwise, I'm glad I'm at QM.

I did a BA in History and Politics at Queen Mary University of London between 2014 and 2017. ADMIN Serving fewer students, the department of History is better run than Politics: there is strict monitoring of seminar attendance, queries emailed to the Department are answered rather swiftly - less so over at Politics. The Student Enquiry Centre and the Fees Office, on the other hand, is a lot like the Council: sometimes you can't help having to go through them, no matter how much you wish you did not have to. TEACHING Similarly to admin, the teaching of the History Department is of better quality than Politics: seminars are more focused, standards of marking in coursework are higher. Amongst the several excellent professors I had the pleasure of learning from, a special mention goes to Prof. Julian Jackson (Head of the History Department) and Prof. Kimberly Hutchings (senior lecturer at the Department of Politics) for their top-quality teaching and their approachibility. FACILITIES As of now, the library is open 24/7 on most days. Although not comparable in size to UCL's, Queen Mary Library has a discreet range of reading material, excellent computer facilities (though more would be needed), good photocopiers. A big negative are the toilets: often out of order and poorly maintained.

I think that Queen Mary is a really good university overall. The staff in School of Politics and International Relations are quite helpful and there is always support available. Lectures are almost always recorded which is really useful. I noticed that Queen Mary has some excellent careers events to prepare you for life after university; the Law Fair is particularly well regarded. It has a very "campus" feel which is rare for a London university and there are plenty of study spaces as well as fun opportunities held by various societies.

The mile end campus is really nice. It has a lot of facilities including the gym, students union and the various shops. My course is slightly intense but overall the content is great and gives you a good insight of various topics related to the degree.

The university is great. The environment is lovely, but the support is not as well structured. Often there is very little available support for students. Whether it is commenting on their assignments or general queries or questions regarding mental health, students are quite neglected. Several facilities are held on campus and students are quite aware of them via emails or on the day as they take place in Library Square, which they are highly likely to pass on their way to lectures or seminars. The university also has facilities such as careers, which is quite handy, as well as the student support office for times when you have general queries. Like I said, it's a lovely institution but when it comes to support it is very limited.

QMUL is a non-pretentious institution that provides a great quality education to its students. The University truly cares for it's students and the pastoral support i have received has been brilliant. The campus at Mile End is well kept and the facilities such as canal side (a study space overlooking the canals) is a refreshing space to work in. It is a very diverse and friendly university with a forward thinking approach and a huge variety of societies and sports clubs.

The events are all good fun and everyone is always really friendly, but it probably doesn't quite live up to the hype that everyone makes it out to be.

Great campus with plenty of places to hang out, in East/Central London, so close to Bricklane and Whitechapel and the nightlife! Great food on campus and Drapers bar to hang out at night! The Campus has new buildings this year, lecture halls with space and plus for laptops. The gym on campus is well equipped and has great classes going on all the time, plus lots of membership options for those who want off peak. The library could be better, it could be bigger, have more plug sockets and resources. And the student union could be more serious and more student oriented.

Overall it is a very well established, high quality institution with an extensive range of degree programs to choose from which even includes foundation year programs for those who may want to enter a degree in an alternative way rather than in the conventional way. Additionally the location in east London offers a variety of things to do as well as on campus events.

The university is diverse in its students, it is based in East London after all. Once you enter the campus, it’s like a mini student city, there’s a bar, convenience stores and even a bank! Most of the building in which lectures take place are nice and up to date, a couple however leave a lot to be desired, and when you’re paying 9k a year, you expect better. Students are nice and approachable, the student union is vibrant and very active within student life.

The university experience was lively and upbeat, first year was great and layed bacj but the univeristy provided extra cricular activities in the form of sport clubs and also many events happened which made the experience that much more interesting.
