The facilities are nice but it could have more quite study areas. My course teaching time was 8 hour per week which is not nearly enough.
The lectures were interesting and easy to follow, but the seminars often lacked structure and purpose. Staff often seemed disinterested during seminars, and feedback times for assignments were extremely long. The library had a fair selection of books but not nearly enough seating or computers, and the toilets were always dirty. The campus was overall lovely, with a good selection of shops and cafes, if a little expensive.
The campus is the best thing about the university. The facilities are also good enough but then the course they provide are not that specialised , and the fees in very high .
University is really good and my course business and management is amazing. The careers service are very helpful as well. The university bar is just most amazing place with the large library.
Being a part of Queen Mary University London, has been a great experience. More specifically, the medical course offers a handfull of opportunities for learning, getting very early on patient contact and challenging yourself.
It's a good university, however there is never room in the library and give to do work! Would be better if there were more room!
Although there are many computers available to students across campus, at times it can be extremely difficult to find one that is not in use half-way through the day. The two main computer rooms are in library and the Hive. Ground floor library is so noisy, it's like a zoo - even if you find a computer, it's impossible to study. Same situation with Hive. First floor library is quiet, however is always full; some students come first thing in the morning and stay there all day! The computer rooms in any other building is likewise noisy and these computer rooms can be booked by lecturers for their classes (which happens a lot) so you'd often get kicked out.
