King's College London (informally King's or KCL) is a public research university located in London, United Kingdom, and a founding constituent college of the federal University of London. King's was established in 1829 by King George IV and the Duke of Wellington, when it received its first royal charter (as a university college), and claims to be the fourth oldest university institution in England.[6][7][8] In 1836, King's became one of the two founding colleges of the University of London.[9][10][11] In the late 20th century, King's grew through a series of mergers, including with Queen Elizabeth College and Chelsea College of Science and Technology (in 1985), the Institute of Psychiatry (in 1997), the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals and the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery (in 1998).

Great university, right in the the heart of central London. Great for students who want a city feel. The new bush house building also has great facilities.

King's is of the oldest university institutions in Britain. The estates consist of mostly Georgian and Victorian buildings (with the odd ugly duckling brutalist block thrown in), the academic standards are consistently high, and lecturers are often big names in their fields.

Great university! There's an abundance of staff, lecturers and academics to support you in very part of the way and very willing to help. My course content is pretty good, teaching is well organized. Only downfall is the building and facilities. Limited number of books, very little available computers or study space ( only on my saturated campus). All in all, great!

A world class university with campuses located in the heart of the capital. Great facilities(libraries, pcs, gym) for students. Very well organized administration that helps students in everything throughout their journey.

Kings could possibly be the most anti social and least community spirited university in the country. I love it. The teaching is brilliant. The campus's are beautiful. The location, incredible. If you want a laugh and a not half bad education go to King's.

The sports community is great, I'm saddened by the shrinking support for it in favour of no contribution or structured activities offered by the union proper. Good teaching and facilities and great support from staff.

King's college London has great facilities and plenty of prestigious staff eager to help. My campus is excellent, my course (physics) is treated with great care and respect, and the department care a great deal about and make meaningful changes regarding student feedback. Additionally, the student union is very active

Kings is a magnificent University, I have experienced nothing but joy here accept at deadlines. The University always has clean and welcoming campuses, all staff are always friendly. The students union has always been very helpful when required. The Libraries and their staff are always very useful. The only thing I can possibly fault the University for is there organisational skills. 9/10 they will be fine but if something is not organised properly then it will be drastically wrong.

the campus is really beautiful, especially the Strand campus, with the new somerset and bush houses, you can have a really nice view if you to the eighth floor of bush's house.

The university has excellent faculities on each of the campuses. The course was very well designed with a combination of both placements and academic timetables to ensure a mix. Enjoyed the teaching which is of a hihh quality with many supportive lecturers who are happy to spend extra time to help. Student union and careers services are alsp very good.
