King's College London

King's is probably one of the best known schools in London, with a reputation for quality education, good faculties, facilities and more... Our student bars are quite frequented and Bush house is a great addition to the Kings buildings, considering most of them other than Guys campus aren't particularly aesthetically interesting or pleasing (LOOKING AT STRAND). The counselling services are good if you manage to ever get an appointment and faculty is helpful, well versed in their areas of expertise and not completely unapproachable. The student body is quite a variety of people from different backgrounds, religions, regions and orientations so there are plenty of people to connect with and learn more about which makes the experience at Kings a well rounded one.

Overall acceptable university but organization could be improved a lot. Also competition is very high due to the large number of students, so it happens often that events are over booked and no spaces available

The campus and facilities are suitable and he campus is good. The history department is generally well run but lacks some organisational skills. The SU runs separate from the sports programme which makes how sports teams are run quite poor. Student services have been helpful but are sometimes slow.

The University is spread across 4 main campuses which are fairly close to one another. guys campus being the largest is the most versatile - in terms of what you have around. From Borough market to Southbank being a quick walk away from the Waterloo campus, theres always things to do and eat. As a masters student you can expect to receive alot of support from the university in terms of from the SU and from staff. Careers at the uni are awesome too - excellent team helping you with applications and interviews or just helping you see the different careers your degree could take you.

Teaching is good the topics can be boring but that is to be expected, lecturers are good although the quality of recordings during lectures could be improved. Lecture theatres are nice but there is very little space. My timetable is very poorly done in my opinion forcing me to go at 9am and leave at 6pm everyday with up to 5 hours free in between lectures. Haven't had direct involvement with the union but have heard alot about their work and the building which they are housed in has lots of good studying and relaxing areas although these can get packed very fast.

I am mainly based at Denmark hill campus. I really enjoy the course and think it is well led, there are lots of events and societies to get involved in where you get to know new things and meet new people. The staff are always helpful whenever you need them however sometimes there is too much negative feedback and not enough positive feedback from the tutors. Saying that I've loved my experience at the uni and will be sad to leave.

There are 3 main campuses which are all centrally located and well connected. The overall admin and organisation is poor which is frustrating when I have placements

The library is really amazing. During the year I love to spend my time there. There are lots of seats. There is also a café in the basement, a really nice place to catch up with course mates.

Good univeristy on paper - in reality it's mental health support was poor and I still don't have a "career" job.

The KCL facilities are a great environment to work in, with a number of campuses in central and south London. And the Maughen Library in Holborn is beautiful!!

Lectures were excellent and seminars also good, however there was an element of disorganisation. Many people complained about late essay feedback, often lacking in detail, it was very unclear how we had been progressing and complicated to work out our overall grade. Location is incredible, halls are great and it's nice being in such a diverse environment with people from all over the world.

Fantastic university, I have really enjoyed my time here. Perhaps more advertisement on types of societies that are available and social events.

A very prestigious London univeristy with a lot to offer to students from all backgrounds. Boasting 4 campus’ across the whole of central London, King’s has unique oportunities in every field, from Science to Humanities.

The Strand campus is an eyesore and the lifts never work, but if you are a law student you are blessed with being in Somerset House, which has an ice rink in the winter and is a perfect spot for day-boozing in the summer. Law is a full-on course with a diverse group of people (as is the whole university), and you will make some amazing friends from all corners of the earth if you put yourself out there!

Facilities at KCL are really good; lecture halls all have tables, there are laptops you can borrow from all the libraries, phone charging stations too and the classes offered at the gyms are great

Great campus. Wonderful people. Staff are here to help and eager to help as well. Only main complaint is the organisation is a bit sloppy and needs to be improved.

The course I am doing is called LLM(Masters of Laws). The program has over 6 different pathways with variety of modules available. The teaching staff is great and overall it was a great experience. The university has an excellent library, which is one of the most beautiful building in London - Maughan Library. There are several campuses in different parts of London and overall I was satisfied with my year at King's.

I am based at Guy's campus and I think it's a got a really nice atmosphere to it. It has a beautiful green space in the middle and easy to get to the different buildings. I like the Shed which is a student run café and informal space to chill and play table tennis. The campus as a whole is great location too in terms of transport and things to do/see such as borough market and The Shard. The facilities like the libraries are great but it gets busy and packed very quickly! There are ample number of group study spaces too which come handy with working with mates. There are loads of computer rooms which is essential not only for courseworks and dissertations but also for watching over lecture capture, but the lecture recordings can often be poor quality or not even recorded. Regarding my course(Medical Physiology), I've really enjoyed it despite the build of stress over the years particularly in 3rd year. They have a range of subjects that all biological science students have a choice of when selecting modules. Specifically to physiology, I've enjoyed endocrinology and diabetes, exercise physiology and human form and function modules to name a few. I do wish more practicals were in place for physiology. It was all generally organised well and no hic-ups. There is also a good careers service on board able to provide advice for your career aspirations which I've tried and found helpful. I definitely recommend the uni and my course.

Good reputation Amazing course- I study mental health nursing and it's 50% placement and 50% academic. I really enjoy placement because it's more practical, you get to know the patients, understand more about the role as a nurse on placements. Uni work quite hard- because we have to complete placement hours, on top of that we have exams and essays to complete is very daunting and hard. I struggled a lot with the academic part. Teaching is good

I liked the university and how spread out its campuses were over London. Gave you a taste of different areas of central London. I do think the organisation as a whole of the university is good, and there are plenty of resources available for societies and events. However I did feel that my informatics department wasn’t the best organised as we were left with old outdated material to learn for a few of our modules in second and third year of computer science

As a student in the department of music, I was thoroughly impressed with the teaching of all the academic staff. The administration however was generally poor, exam and essay results were consistently late, and timetable errors meant many students had to swap modules weeks into term. The campus is built on three staircases and so has absolutely no wheelchair access.

The university location is fantastic, easy access straight into Covent Garden and you can’t go wrong with amount of stuff there is to do in London. Can never get bored. The organisation was great, I found the uni experience good only slightly hampered by the fact that I lived at home. But all things considered it was fantastic.
