International Disaster Concern

The International Disaster Concern society is a brilliant group of people and a nice fortnightly get together with drinks etc. The board try and arrange as many exciting activities as possible and do well at this. Most of the board are also interstates with the first years and I feel as if I can talk to a couple of them closely. The only down side to the societies at Coventry university is the diversity and inclusion. I have found that there aren't many sports societies and due to this the ones that are there are highly competitive and dificult to get in to. As well at the freshers fair etc not all of the societies were there so I am still unaware of a number of societies that are available

Very friendly committee, they are very organised but sometimes let down by lack of interest. Theres a good mix of academic and social events although some more non drinking events would be good
