My course was a bit unplanned this year. They decide to put a new module called CMI at the second semester that was very busy semester. Also all the deadlines are together and is very stressful.

The university is very good, everything is close together all the university buildings and city centre all walking distance. The students union could be much more involved in students lives and making the whole student experience better.

The facilities are great, there is a lot of support from staff and the working environment is very resourceful

The new buildings are really good, however some of the buildings are out dated. The media equipment you can take out is really good and easily accessible.

I studied media and communications and enjoyed my course. It was tough and challenging and a jump from a levels but if you ask or require help it is on supply through the staff at Coventry. For my course we received a MacBook Pro laptop with all software including editing software throughout the three years and got to keep it after - as long as you had insurance and proof of insurance

My course is very 'all over the place' with no organisation however the university itself is great, the library is very accessible and the new buildings are amazing! (science and health building)

Facilities are great, my course is intense and the campus is decent. The overall experience here is balanced however, I do feel the city is small and quite boring.

My faculty Law is kinda great however some of the teachers are not experienced and really young which makes things to be difficult of us to understand consequently some of them talk too fast and not academically

The Coventry university campus is well laid out, snaking it easy to find your building, as long as you’re on the main campus, if you’re not then it’s virtually imposssible to find your building without asking for help, especially as a fresher. The facilities at cov uni are constantly upgrading, with the new science building and renovations being done to other buildings, the equipment available does allow for a high knowledge standard. The student union and employability team are both reliable and are available through an email or at the offices at any point in the year. My personal experience of cov uni has been okay, as I am most definitely going to pass the course and have enjoyed my time here. However, feedback on assignments at times is useless and can not be used to help improve, such as just having “no” put next to a sentence. As well as this marking is supposed to have a 3 week window from when the work is submitted, but it can take up to 2/3 months to actually receive a grade. This makes it hard to know if you need to prep for resits. Finally, timetabling this year has been a mess, with groups being unscheduled for coursework labs and as a whole being told about lectures/workshops/labs on the day or even the day before because of issues that should have been fixed at the start of the year. Overall I’ve had a decent experience, but far more work needs to be done.

Although there is a fantastic new science and health building with great labs and an amazing gym, the other buildings are miserable. There are very few PCs around, even in the library. The lecture theatres are dull and uncomfortable. I haven't heard much from the student union nor been directed or told about career services. The organisation of my course is poor. Our assessment turn around is supposed to be 3 weeks and the soonest we've had an assingment back is 6 weeks and the longest was 12.

Very supportive environment where almost every accommodation is made for you. Satisfying content within the course.

I am in my second year. First year halls were not value for money. They are expensive for low level living conditions. I have had issues with the university with unorganisation. I have also had lack of sympathy about my living conditions from the letting agency (uni lead). I am living in poor living circumstances where I have been at great risk and there was lack of sympathy because of money and contracts from both the agency and the university.

Uni management is pretty awful, always found it hard to talk to them properly about issues. Course is good, but the uni don’t seem to care much.

The engineering department at the university is excellent, however the su and the societies aren’t that great. The variety isn’t very big, and not all the societies are listed on the su website

Strong future ahead, lectures are overall friendly and professional. Tutors are helpful and considerate. The workshop facilities include modern day machines including 3D printers and other cnc machines as well as equipment and supporting staff. Product Design course covers a wide range of design as well as how to draw in CAD. The university is well organised and coming to uni and my first term of uni has been successful, organised and enjoyable.

The Univesity is fine. I expected much more, but what I found works. I would like better timetable (I have class from 18:00 to 21:00). The content of the lectures is fine and I am learning.
