Buckinghamshire New University

We have two weeks for freshers, with a variety of events planned every single day so there is something for everyone ! There are a group of freshers helpers at each accommodation during move in day who help you to move in and help with any questions. These guys stick around for the first 2 weeks so we can always ask questions if we need to!

Freshers was a good experience - with helpful freshers helpers. Varied amount of things to do, it was very good and I enjoyed all of it.

Meeting new people in my sports science class was great we are all so alike yet all so similar, choosing this university was the best choice of my life

Amazing, move in all ran so smooth, events were amazing, loved every single moment of it! Am looking forward to this year’s freshers week for the amazing events they will have lined up

Freshers week at Bucks New Uni is incredible. 2 weeks of events ranging from paint party’s, Toga party and even silent discos. Great artists perform as well. With artist like Professor Green, Declan McKenna and Sigala. Everyone has a great time and can’t wait for the next freshers week (2 weeks). The SU has two great bars and occasionally open a couple more outside for an even better night out. If you don’t like going out during the night. The SU have other events like comedy night, movie nights and a Quiz. At the end of freshers is the big Fresher Ball when everyone dresses up and there are stalls outside selling food and drinks which is always a good night. These 2 weeks of freshers really helped me make loads of friends from meeting people on nights out who are on my course or just talking about random things for hours.
