Quality uni. Perfect for what I want to do in life. Lots of options to expand and broaden what I do, whilst also giving plenty chances for future work! The facilities are top class and really are amazing.

Lovely building (city south) but perhaps not quite big enough for everyone. The HELS team are all really nice and helpful. Very good student feedback forums.

The university itself is amazing always providing way to motivate and support students howeve my campus was left out due to it being the old run down campus which was due to be knocked down so we got left out of it all never really got any rewards for the effort we was putting in compared to the main campus

Excellent experience at BCU. The buildings are really modern and they seem to be ever building more, with good access to resources eg 24hr library that has plenty of computers or laptops to take away. The whole campus has now pretty much moved to the city centre so housing is the only downside - most people tend to stay in flats in their 2nd and 3rd year as there aren't many student houses about. Sports facilities are good, however are located in Perry Barr where the old campus is which makes them a pain to get to. However the uni have an agreement with Aston Uni (across the road from the new site) that we can use their facilities for a Concessionary price which helps.

I go to City Centre campus but my residence was near City North campus. Curzon building is in city centre and has just been renovated so it's gorgeous with cool seating and big open windows. But there was and still is a major issue with the WiFi - not only is it not stable but it is non existent in some places. The food facilities were good but expensive. The library had everything I needed but were a bit slow when I ordered books from other departments/buildings. I study English and it feels like the English department are particularly friendly, available and helpful compared to other departments. The course content allowed choice and a range of topics. Student union try very hard but can't seem to gather membership and support which was specifically evident during elections. In terms of careers services, the employability advisors are incredible and go above what is expected of them, following up on your process after your appointment with them. My experience at university as been incredible and a lot of my enjoyment has been because of the greatness that is BCU.

The facilities are excellent at this university, there are computers and open work spaces all around the Curzon campus. There has been a drastic improvement since the the times it was based in Perry Barr. The university has a proactive and practical approach to teaching students. There were two trips all paid for by my university , one that was international.

The university is a very encouraging university! However I am on the north campus, soon to be changed, this campus is not exciting and not a lot to offer. Therefore I didn't enjoy my few years at uni as the campus let it down. I have idea about the SU or what they do.

The campus is very modern, they just renovated an attached building with more seating area and rooms for students to chill and study. The facilities are amazing, a huge library with every book that you need for your course. The course itself is interesting as im studying psychology so every semester theres a different module and its great to learn about variety of stuff. My experience is that i would definitely need to go out more and explore

Manafacturing Degree Student I had a great time being at Birmingham uni, met different people from all over the place, visited different areas from this for the night life. Accommodation is as expected, always on the piss until you’re a few weeks a way from exams. Didn’t have any problem bring people into my place. Classes were decent, didn’t really have too many problems with lectures, other students etc.

Great facilities for the Film Production Technology course. Multiple studios at industry standard, biggest green screen studio at a university in the U.K. Lecturers are very supportive and contribute to a great experience.

Curzon has great, modern facilities and great professors. I like that you get the main course book for free. I’m America and we don’t get free books over there haha

Lovely campus, great facilities and a great number of courses to choose from. There is also an amazing visual communications school within the university, which caters to all the creative students needs. As a creative student it allows you to expand your creative knowledge and skills, you also can learn and collaborate with students from various creative disciplines.
