The city of Wolverhampton is quite boring. The town centre is nice, however there aren't many places to eat. I am not sure about the night life. For shopping I think it is a lovely place with plenty of high street shops. There isn't much to do and I preferred going into Birmingham for food and things to do.

Not much options of places to go to for clubbing, food, shopping etc. However it is getting better with more shops being added and cheap restaurants that do good deals to get cheap food. Transport is getting better with the bus station being added, the teams being more advanced and a train station near by

Not great at all. As someone said you can't get in touch with someone if you need help. They let me do a January start but the programme isn't designed for a January start which I did not know when I started I did the first year backwards which was very confusing. I think they just wanted my money. Once they have that they don't want you. My Dad was ill and passed away in second year which meant I have had to have a lot of time away. They won't let me repeat year even though my funding will allow for it. Facilities are very poor. Wolverhampton is a very depressing place in the Winter. I have to commute which is a complete ball ache and they changed the start times to 9 am when it had always been 10 am. It's not worth 9 grand a year. They even had a secondary school teacher teaching one of the modules. Even though he was good I don't think he knew his stuff as much as other lecturers. It's a really difficult process to put in an extenuating circumstances claim and their Wolf is not good

Lots of work being done in the city at the moment which is really making the city thrive, with a few new bars and restaraunts making the city much better. It's within close distance to get to other major towns and cities such as Manchester or Birmingham. Although a lot more bars still needed to encourage people to travel here rather than elsewhere

Wolverhampton is a fab town! Got everything you could need. Schools enough of them nearby so no long routes for the kids.

Before going to University in Wolverhampton, I had never been to the town. While it had it's conveniences, in terms of opportunities for students there is surprisingly very little considering it does have a small and improving hub for retail and business. Not a lot of places offer student discount or anything similar, and there are not a lot of fun or quirky places to hang out. To have any kind of fun, it will cost a small fortune unfortunately, which makes nights out in Birmingham or Shrewsbury more appealing. There are a nice variety of bars and restaurants, but again the price list is not made with students in mind. The shopping centre has recently been improved which in some places it does show and has a few popular shops, but in other places it just doesn't feel welcoming and current. Overall, the city centre of Wolverhampton is okay to be in, just needs to take into account that there are many students around that could generate business under the right prices.

Absolutely great town! Great eateries and clothes shops alike. I specifically love how close the bus station is to the main shopping centre literally step off the bus and right into Topman, Boots, Primark you name it and its there. Also the bus station has links all over the west Midlands so no matter where you want to go, you can get there from Wolverhampton .

Great place in a friendly little town, great location, nice bars and restaurants nearby. University us easy to get around, friendly staff and I love the on-site Starbucks

I go to the university of Wolverhampton however my campus is located in Walsall so that’s where I stay. In terms of the campus I attend, students are civilised and there’s not really any ‘misbehaving’ predominantly older students. The city is easy to find your way around as it’s veey small. Nice big park. Plenty of superstores within walking distance of pretty much anywhere. Bus service fairly consistent and reliable. Town center is somewhat dated in areas however they have a revamp over my two years at uni so not all bad! Overall I’d probably rate my experience a 4/5. Sometimes it gets a bit boring however Birmingham is only 20 minutes away on the train so it’s all good!

Bentley Bridge is a good place to go in wolves other than that you can travel out to have fun. Wolverhampton is a quiet town, you have to make your own fun or else you'll die of boredom!

Wolverhampton is a great place to shop and find some awesome deals on certain items and brands, the city is somewhat big and nightlife isn't great but the local art gallery is and interesting place. Wolverhampton is home to a beautiful old church worth taking photos of for any photographers out there, the shopping centre has a large verity of stores including Pandora and JD it also has a Burger King, Subway and a Mexican street food place. Transport in Wolverhampton has a wide range of choice from buses to trains you shouldn't find it difficult to get around and to get to other places, there are also coaches, taxis and a metro available. There's a theater near the bus station and a cinema plus more shopping and entertainment places such as a bowling alley that you can get to by catching the number 59 bus.

The nights out are amazing, there is so much to do and so many people there with a good vibe. Shopping is also good as the shops there relate to me and what I like. It is definitely good value for money!

Several places to eat and go for a night out/drinking in an evening. Good transport links (20/30 mins from BHM).. ASDA supermarket in walking distance. Tram, train and bus station all in city centre. Not the nicest of places though!

Wolverhampton is a nice quiet city, its not very busy but there's always stuff to do go to a movie , go out with friends to the nice independent cafes on the high street and theres loads of hidden gems scattered across. Parking is a nightmare but everything else is pretty cheap. Although most people I know live in Birmingham and commute

A great place for nightlife, shopping, food & for students. Great places to socialise. A very enjoyable place for people to be.

Despite Wolverhampton being a bit of a sad and miserable place to be, it's great if you want a cheap night out that's within walking distance of halls. You also have Birmingham near by with is a better night out but will cost you a lot more than if you stay in Wolverhampton. You have everything you need with regards to shops to cover the basics and now that Debenhams is in the centre, it has improved it a lot!

Wolverhampton is a great location for a Unicersity. There is plenty of shops with lots of different options. Nightlife is great, gets better every year! There’s plenty to do within the area and within the Midlands. It’s also great value for money, there is plenty of cheaps shops for clothes, food, and the night life. Most of the bars and pubs have their own student cards which gives special discounts just for students.

Not the worst place in the world. It had pubs, shops clubs museums pretty much everything you need but it's a bit crap compered to cities like Birmingham.

Good place to live for students with many local amenities close by, whether you are driving or walking. The Mander centre is filled with shops like new look for example. Many shops have student discount so are very affordable to all, plenty of bars, restaurants also to suit everyone taste.

Nothing around the area as I am located on the Walsall campus. It's a 20 minute walk to the nearest shop. There's isn't much option for junk food on campus, there's a vending machine but it is quite often empty

There's lots of places to eat out for both fast food and also restaurants and pubs. There's lots of places to go out in the evening. However outside of this there isn't much else to do that's fun.

It's a cheap place to live and well located for getting there but a bit run down. Expect to be asked for money 10 times if you pop into town for a McDonalds.

Yeah it’s very good there, I like it, thanks wolves - you’re good uni. Fun place to be, lots of places to go with plenty of cariety
