Good night's out, dead cheap. Plenty of stuff to do (restaurants, museums, cafes, clubs, bars etc). Definitely give the escape room a go!

Great “indie” shops, boutiques and vintage shops instead of big brand shops - allows you to build your own style and shop for longer

The night out is cheap and there is a huge variety from indie to bassline. There is an independent version of everything in Sheffield.

Great nights out, solid city. easy to get around. chose this uni for its great campus and the proximity to a lit city

Great night out, cheap, student friendly, great student village. West Street had a great bar crawl and there's a good night out almost every night of the week. Corp wednesday is a must.

Incredible night life with lots to do and places to go, Incredible selection of places to eat, the university is top tier in both education and social aspects.

Never had a bad night out in Sheffield, always good to end the night eith a balti king or brromhill friery. Transport is great in the city with trams, busses, taxis and ubers to get you anywhere you want.

Is an amazing city with loads to do and people are friendly. Plus the peaks are nearby and buses run during the day. Student bus fare is only £1

Great location, plenty of choices for a night out, and everything is relatively cheap! Plenty of places to go for food and shopping and easy to get around with the bus and tram system

Such a beautiful chilled out city! Sick nights out for every kind of music taste, town centre has all the best shops, everywhere is student friendly and pretty cheap.

Great facilities and stuff to do, along with vibrant student community and pleasant public. Good transport links cheap for students

More clubs than you can count! Easy access to taxis and uber are available in this area. Many shops in the city centre however not very many around student accomdation.

Cheap as hell, lovely people and good degree options. There are good options for nights out, whether you want pubs, clubs or something a bit different. Sheffield is the full package.

Eyyy what’s happening kids Sheffield is a fun place for all the family - from your hometown bad boys to your edgy cousin from Leeds. Wide variety of nights out mostly within walking distance of both university housing areas. Good food places for both night and day (even a curry place open till 5am). Plenty of vintage shops to get your dopey streetwear. Big fat libraries to play hide and seek in. Super cheap everywhere it’s like living in an LEDC! Public transport is supposedly really good but not all that accessible in student areas - just use Uber though.

Amazing city, love everhtbing about it, been here for two years studying at university and can’t complain at all!

Great nights out on both weds and Saturdays (and any nights) pop tarts and roar best two nights out going, finished off with West Street live and a kebab at Aslans or Curry at Balti King, a cheap pint, a great city, what’s not to love?

Better than a night out in Liverpool, Manchester and St. Helens. Lots of food and sainsbury shops but very hilly, gives your calves a workout
